We are a small kennel located in South East Queensland and our dogs are part of our family. It all started in 1999 with our foundation girl, Trixie, & in 2003 her son Bronson, & together they enjoyed herding, obedience, agility, canine disc/frisbee, lure coursing and even dog sledding! We only breed when we want something for ourselves or we have a number of great homes wanting a pup, so we don't breed very often. In 2013 we started planning our next litter & the future of the kennel, with the help of our friends & mentors at Dunwurkn and Sarasota Border Collies. The kennel has grown significantly since then, both in dog numbers and property size. Our main sport now is Flyball, but we still do some dog sledding in the winter, albeit just for fun these days! Our dogs have a great mix of working drive and wanting to snuggle up with you on the couch! We firmly believe in health testing and are happy to share our dogs results, there is nothing to hide here. We welcome you to come and meet our dogs and see their temperaments, as this is another aspect we place a lot of emphasis on. Sherayle Kennels is a small kennel on the Southside of Brisbane. My involvment with Border Collies revolves around confirmation, obedience and agility but most importantly they are my pets first and also a member of the family. Will only breed occasionally when am looking for a new member of the family.

I first became involved in showing Border Collies after being involved in obedience and agility with rescued Keeshonds from the RSPCA. But after growing up with Border Collies my passion was towards the Border Collie. So with the assistance of friends at the obedience club, I purchased my first Border Collie ‘Neloby Miss Marnie’ aka Marnie and this little girl was my foundation bitch when it came to learning and growing with the breed.

Going forward I will be striving to improve on what I have when it comes to temperament but also with the standard of the Border Collie.

When it comes to breeding - no dogs will be exported to ASIA.

I have been a registered breeder for over 20 years and a registered Veterinary Surgeon for over 30 years.

My aim is to breed healthy and sound Border Collies with good temperaments. We live on a small farm on the Southern Downs and my dogs have plenty of room to enjoy an active lifestyle. My pups are raised as part of the family with plenty of stimulation and have wonderful temperaments.

All my adult dogs have been hip and elbow scored with low scores. They are all fully DNA tested to make sure they are clear of all the genetic diseases that can be tested for. My puppies are all DNA tested to confirm parentage. They are thoroughly vet checked in the first 8 weeks, prior to going to their new homes.

I am happy to offer ongoing support and veterinary advice, including a comprehensive puppy folder with plenty of information to help new puppy buyers.

I have been a border collie breeder since 1995 and have been lucky to breed some lovely dogs who have gone to wonderful homes. Many of my original owners have come back for their second, third and sometimes fourth new baby and I thank them for their loyalty.

We aim to raise our pups in a home environment where they are socialised with many people and at least five of my grandchildren who live nearby.

We are happy to announce the arrival of two beautiful litters. The first litter is out of Nova (Bojak Celestial Supernova) and Shep (Borderstrand Made with Shade) - pups available are:

This litter was born on the 8th October 2024 and will be ready to go to their new homes on the 1st December 2024.

This litter was born on the 10th October 2024 and will be ready to go to their new homes on the 3rd December 20204.

Parents are Hip and Elbow Scored and DNA tested to ensure that none of the pups can be affected by any testable hereditary disease.

Our pups are vaccinated and microchipped as well as wormed regularly. We provide a comprehensive folder of information which could be helpful in different situations and I am always happy to have a phone conversation at any time and help out as best I can for the life of your dog.
