We are a small select kennel based near Albury Wodonga on the NSW & Victorian border. We participate in Obedience, Rally-O, Agility and conformation competitions. We breed borders who are suitable as pets and faithful companions and dogs with strong drive suitable for working or performance homes. Our dogs include classic black & whites, blues, reds and merles. Our priority for all our dogs is a sound temperament. All our breeding dogs are tested for hereditary health issues and their eyes, hips and elbows screened for soundness. All our dogs are 'dogs about town' just as happy going for coffee or to a dog park for play time as they are training one on one or competing. Our dogs are well socialised with children, our cats and stock. Our pups are raised in our home and receive the very best care. Steadfast Border Collies are located at Waurn Ponds - a suburb of Geelong, just before Torquay and is the gateway to the Surf Coast. I have a backyard devoted to my Border Collies and 3 children. All dogs are raised in a loving, family environment and are used to younger and older children, cats and other breeds of dogs. They enjoy a jog daily and actively participate in conformation shows and Obedience training. I have stud dogs, bitches and puppies available for you to view and have puppies available for sale occasionally. Steadfast Border Collies enjoy great success in the conformation ring with 19 Australian Champions, Endurance titled dogs and some Obedience titled dogs to my credit. I have exported a puppy to Mexico and now have a Mexican Champion under my prefix who has sired litters there. I have exported breeding vials to Hungary, South Africa and Scotland with puppies on the ground already. I am experiencing great success with my team at present with 2 Best Of Breeds at Adelaide Royal in 2019 and 2017, Best Exhibit In Group Fourth at Adelaide Royal 2017 and shortlisted for Group in 2019. I was also awarded Best Baby Puppy in Group 5 Adelaide Royal 2019. "Steadfast" Border Collies won 5 of the classes on offer at Royal Adelaide 2019. Madra was also awarded Reserve Challenge and "Steadfast" Border Collies won 4 classes at the prestigious Melbourne Royal in 2019. Sassy (Etherial Wandanna Sassy) and Risk (Steadfast Risk it For Th Biskit) welcomed 8 beautiful healthy puppies in September. Two puppies remain waiting for their forever homes and will be available from the 2nd November.These puppies have been reared in my home and are loving, happy, confident and adventurous. So much love from my grandchildren ensure they want lots of cuddles and play. One girls and one boy.
Puppies were vet checked at 48 hours, and were vet checked again , microchipped and had first vaccination at 6 weeks. Wormed every 2 weeks. To ensure optimum health and growth, puppies have been fed a balanced and nutritious diet.
Both parents have beautiful temperaments and have genetic and x-ray results available.
Puppies come with Faux grass pee pads, litter blanket, food samples with feeding information sheets.
I'm always available for advice or help at any time in the future if you have any questions.
Sassy is a medium coat working lines and is working towards her Level 4 Obedience Certificate. Risk is a beautiful show dog.
The male puppy Jagger has beautiful, typical Border Collie markings with lots of white. The biggest puppy in the litter, he certainly is a stand out puppy.
