We have been involved with Shetlies for over 40 years , and have breed numerous Champions, who hold their own at Group and In Show level .In the last 10 years we have imported from Australia and the UK to compliment our gene pool.These bloodlines will further our aim to breed that typical sweet expression in our shelties along with correct movement and temperment in the same package. Our thanks go to the breeders of these dogs who were prepared to let them come so many miles to live with us.
We live on 23 acres on the outskirts of Christchurch. Our dogs have 3 acres of fully fenced grass and trees plus our large garden to run free and have fun. All our dogs have access to the house and are our constant companions. All our puppies are house reared.

We have owned bred, worked and showed dogs for over 33 years our main breed being Alaskan Malamutes. We have owned Shetland Sheepdogs for the past 12 years and absolutely adore them. Our Shelties have been successful in the show ring at the highest levels. Most of all they are our loved babies. We do not breed often and make sure that the parents have been hip x-rayed and had a full DNA panel done. All our babies are eye screened between 7 and 8 weeks of age prior to going to their forever homes.

Although only a relatively small kennel Goldview Kennels were well on the way in 2005 when my first owned and bred sheltie "Goldview Taylamade" gained her title. I am proud to say that since then I have bred and shown several dogs through to their Championship titles, including Ch Goldview Bachelor Boy, Ch Goldview Satin N Lace who are from the same litter. Also Ch Goldview Hyland Cruiser, Ch Anscot Sandpiper and Ch Goldview On The Move .I only breed when I want a pup for myself and I get much pleasure in seeing my puppies go go to their new homes knowing they will be loved and true members of their new family.
Being on a rural property my dogs get plenty of running exercise which gives them strength and agility which is so important in a working breed.
I only breed to the correct UK standard and aim at all times to breed Shelties that are not only beautiful, but dogs that are sound and active as befitting a true working breed.

We have 3 little boys available for adoption from the end of July.
These little beauties have had their first vaccination, are microchipped and have excelled in their veterinary exams.
At our house they have been wormed every 2wks, on the best scientific diet, socialised with family, friends and other dogs and loved muchly.
We know that the market has been flooded with puppies and we hope that you have researched the benefits of a purebred dog and the families that your pup comes from.
Like wise we are unable to offer them to people who don’t have time or energy to offer them, the security of housing and the ability to pay for vet bills.
We regret how harsh our ad may sound but we are adamant that all parties are absolutely smitten with each other.
