I have been directly involved with the Bernese Mountain Dog breed since 1992 - breeding, showing and carting. My breeding philosophy has been based in a strong commitment of ongoing improvement with a focus on longevity from proven lines demonstrating good health, temperament and soundness.

My aim is to produce quality Bernese companions, starting from my early English foundation lines carrying proven longevity, along with screened imported breeding stock of European decent with more than 2 decades of hip, elbow and temperament accredited testing.

Montreaux is a small select kennel striving for soundness, temperament and type with this beautiful breeds best interest at heart.

Our aim at Darkcrush is to produce sound, typical Bernese who can perform in the show & obedience rings, yet ultimately be faithful family companions for both ourselves & our puppy buyers.

We screen our breeding stock for Hip & Elbow Displaysia (AVA xray scoring after 12mths of age), Von Willebrands Disease (VwD), & Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) for both genes (SOD1A & SOD1B). We can talk you through the pedigrees of our dogs incl. lifespans & any known health issues.

Bernese world-wide have a lifespan of just shy of 8 yrs, so please do your research into the breed before purchasing as they will not suit everyone. Please beware of scammers & non-reputable breeders!! Facebook posts saying "available now" are not legit!

I am an ANKC breeder registered with DOGS Victoria and sell all pups on Limited papers between 8-12 weeks of age. As a small breeder wait times for puppies may vary (I do not keep a wait list). I ask that you please only call me on Saturdays, or between 4pm-7pm weekdays. If I do not answer, PLEASE leave a voicemail.

Please note that I do not sell pups interstate.

We established Lilacbreeze in 2013 by purchasing our foundation girl from long established Swedish Kennel “Dalaleds “
With the help of our overseas mentors and, proudly now, our Australian ones, we are negotiating the pedigrees and bloodlines of this gorgeous breed.
Our main aim is to produce sound, healthy, family friendly companions that are also correct in conformation.
This is challenging task but we are loving the complexity of breeding.
From our litters we have numerous Australian Champions, some therapy dogs, a lifetime Crufts qualified girl, lots of completely loved pets.

My beautiful girl Spirit, Aust Ch Snofyre Summer Spirit, has whelped her litter and there are some gorgeous boys and girls available to approved homes. Spirit is a multi Best in Group winner who has also produced a Runner up Best in Group winner as well in the handsome Loki from her first litter as well as multiple Australian Champions. Loki is sparingly shown as he has other duties on the farm. Spirit was also Bitch Challenge winner at the 2024 Sydney Royal Easter show. These pups will show the true versatility of the breed being livestock guardians, outstanding show dogs and wonderful companions. Puppies will be available mid December when they are at least 8 weeks of age and come with the following : * Pedigree papers * vaccinations * Dog Toys * Free 2 months of Pet insurance, which you may continue. * Puppy pack with training information * Food and treats * Lifetime support Puppies will be introduced to livestock when they are an appropriate age.
