Breeding beautiful, healthy Bearded Collies with correct working temperaments that excel in everything they do! We are a mother/daughter team, owning beardies since 1983, and establishing our prefix Bonibraes in 1987.Since then we have dedicated ourselves to promoting and preserving our breed. We have traveled across the world seeking dogs to improve and diversify our bloodlines and as a result have imported dogs from Canada, UK, Sweden, Belgium and Finland. All our breeding stock is health screened, including hip and elbow scoring, and eye checked, including applicable DNA testing. We test for everything we possibly can to minimise the risk of hereditary diseases. Home of All Breeds Best in Show winners, Breed Specialty and Royal winners, we have over 50 show Champions and owner/breeder/trainer of some of the first herding titled beardies in Australia. We are both ANKC Herding judges. We are active members of the Bearded Collie Club of NSW, with Karin holding the position of president for many years. We strongly believe in giving back to our hobby and have contributed to our community in a variety of ways- at both shows and performance events, and as rescue officers for the NSW club. Most importantly our dogs are much loved family pets and live their lives with us after they retire. We are ways happy to talk honestly about our breed. Blairriver Bearded Collies is only a small kennel of lovely quality dogs that I have been entrusted with over the past 8 years. Our dogs are show dogs and are also part of our family. We enjoy herding and obedience and just spending quality time and enjoying their lovely temperaments.

Keiramyst Bearded Collies was established in 1983. The first Keiramyst litter was whelped in 1986, and Ch Keiramyst Cassandra Rose, "Cassi", became the "First Lady of Keiramyst". We were privileged to share our home with her for over 17 years. Her daughter, "Demi", is our first Grand Champion. In 2004 "Jandi", bred by Julie Wardell, joined us. She took time out for maternal duties in 2007 and her son, "Macaulay", a brown boy, has stayed to join our family. He is now a breed champion, has his Novice Obedience Title as well as a Herding Test title. In June 2010 Jandi's second litter was born and "Gibbs" and "Shelby" joined the Keiramyst family. They are both breed Champions and have their Herding Test title, and Shelby also has her Community Companion Dog Obedience title.

They already had eye health screening with eye specialist at 6 wks, DNA testing (awaiting results), vaccinations, microchipping and health checks. Blue merles are a true bless, they are raised in our house in the city along with pup mom Sofi (sable merle), dad Simba (tri), and great uncle Sam (10yo). They get a lot of cuddles everyday so they will be used to being touched and handled. Early training has already started. We do absolutely our best to nurture them. Sandicourt Collies have been exhibiting and breeding collies since 1979. We breed to the Breed Standard and our dogs have got amazing temperaments ideal for any family. We have been fortunate to have available to selected homes, 1 sable girl and 2 sable boys. Sire of puppies is Carluke Charmed by a Kiss (Darcy), and mum is the gorgeous Australian Champion Sandicourt Don’t Ya Lover Madly. (Gidget). Gidget is a multi group awarded girl who has excelled in the show ring. Both parents are by imported lines. Both Parents have had full breed DNA profiles, and both have been hip scored with excellent results. These results are available to the new purchaser. Sandicourt have bred many Champions over the years and have also had successful dogs in Obedience, different Dog Sports, and service dogs. These puppies are brought up in the home with my family and we welcome you to come and visit and meet the puppies and the parents. They will be Registered with Dogs Queensland on the Limited Register, DNA’d for Parentage, Microchipped, first vaccination and come with an eye certificate from a Canine Opthamologist. November update I have a beautiful tri collie male pup waiting for his forever home. Hamish would most likely be good at dog sports like agility and fly ball. He is a delighlful pup. Nanuq collies were born on the 21st july, 2024. The parents have had full genetic profiles completed and therefore these puppies will be clear of CEA., DM, There pedigree are from USA and Australian lines. Hamish lives with his parents and aunts and uncles in a loving home environment.He loves attention, playing with children who visit and letting me know when visitors arrive. Hamish loves being with children Hamish is micro chipped and has had health and eye checks. He has received his first and second vaccination and is about to receive his third. Hamish is registered with Dogs Queensland. Quotes can be obtained for puppies intended for interstate destinations.
