We are a small kennel based in the Adelaide hills.
Our belief is to breed our Beagles for Accent on Quality, Breeding for Excellence in Type, Temperament and Movement. We breed only to better the Breed
Our foundation bitch is from the Brialey Kennels who produces top wining Beagles, she became an Australian champion at a young age.
Our dogs are DNA tested to help maintain the quality of the breed.
Aust Ch Houndbrook Buster Moon (Mr Moo) is our current stud dog. Moo is a top winning boy who only carries PRA in his genetic test. He has Brialey and Lunars lines behind him. Strong boned and dark coated. He won best gaited at the Beagle National 2023 and opposite puppy in show at 11 months old and continues to win in group and show awards.

Our recent youngsters from the last 3 litters have hit the show ring hard and are winning huge awards. Aust Ch Houndbrook Giselle, Aust Ch Houndbrook Buster Moon and our newest member Houndbrook Princess Leia. This little girl has one Numerous in Group and in Show awards under local, Interstate and international judges.
Our puppies are brought up in the home environment so are well versed on noise of the household.

I breed selectively for the show ring, but not every puppy born will be good enough for that. My puppies have excellent temperaments, and while they sleep inside at night, spend all day outside in a half acre paddock running in a pack. This ensures they are healthy, strong and know how to get along with other Beagles. My goal has always been to breed Beagles that are true to the breed standard.

All my breeding stock are DNA tested for the full range of genetic problems that Beagles may be affected by, including Lafora Epilepsy, Factor 7, IGS, NCCD, CRD, PKD and MLS.
