Pakowhai Beagles are based in rural Central Hawkes Bay. We are a small kennel and have owned, shown and bred Beagles for 23 years in the UK and NZ. Our aim is to breed beautiful Beagles which excel in both type and temperament. We put a lot of time and research into planning a breeding and breed very selectively. Health and temperament is of the utmost importance to us, all of our Beagles are genetically tested and clear for MLS, Factor VII, Lafora Epilepsy, IGS, NCCD, PK and POAG. Our puppies are lovingly raised in our home using the Puppy Culture program and protocols, to ensure they get the best start possible. Baloo is looking for a new home. He is a male tricolour, born 14.08.2024. He has now had all his baby vaccinations, is microchipped and registered with Dogs NSW, and has been regularly wormed. He hasn't made the cut as a show puppy, but he is very handsome, loves cuddles, and will make a lovely new member of your familly. I am waiting for DNA results for his parents, but they are free of the regular Beagle panel traits. You are free to visit, in fact encouraged, to meet and/or collect him. Otherwise transport can be arranged at your cost.

We have a 13 month old tan & white girl available. We call her “Summer”. Summer is a very sweet and gentle puppy raised in a home with other dogs and children. She gets on well with other dogs and loves a cuddle. Summer would make an ideal second beagle for somebody and would prefer a home with either someone home all day or another dog for company. Mr Truck is looking for a new home. A big, beautiful, very sweet boy, now 2 years 5 month old. Tricolour. Loves cuddles and scratches. Has a big loud voice, but he doesn’t use it very often. Desexed. He would love a home with inside privileges [he sleeps inside in a crate and loves it], and if there is a resident Beagle, all the better as he has grown up in a pack. He is registered with Dogs NSW, Lifetime registered on CAR [NSW], and has had all his vaccinations and worming as needed.
