We started in Fauves for our son Lachlan. We have now imported 5 dogs from Denmark- Sup Ch Sverdrups Yvon, Ireland and Portugal. Hagen our first import from Denmark has set all the breed records in Australia. He was the first fauve to win a Best in Group and then went onto to win Runner Up in Show! We are now committed to improving and promoting this breed in Australia and have imported dogs from Ireland, Denmark and Portugal. We have imported and committed to starting Fauves in New Zealand with our lastest import arriving in New Zealand in April. Hopefully New Zealand will have their first litter of Fauves later this year. Our first litter from Hagen has arrived and his daugther Dee Dee (Arendt Danish Delight) is already a multiple in group and show winner! Hagen is the first fauve in Australia to win a Best in Show and now his son Arendt Great Balls of Fire is the only other fauve to win a Best in Show! There are only a handful of fauves in the world that have won a Best in Show so we are delighted to have 2 in our kennels. Hagen is also the first and only fauve to be awarded Supreme Champion! We welcome enquiries for pet and show homes.

Who would have thought that a visit to some hound shows in 2014 would have seen us introducing another breed into the Bayparque kennel. We saw some cute little "brown hairy" dogs, expressed some interest in them and next thing you know there was a little lady heading across the ditch to her new home. A huge thank you to Katherine Wishart of Arendt Kennels for entrusting this young lady to us. We have also been blessed to have been able to have Katherine's most recent import from Ireland spend some time with us here in New Zealand before he heads over to his forever home in Australia. For a chat about these characters, feel free to drop us a line or give us a call.
