Eriseve is a small kennel, breeding for temperament, health and conformation. Our short history has seen us produce both good natured family pets and several show champions, including Eriseve Zennyo Ryuo and Eriseve Zin Kibaru. Puppies are raised within the household and are well socialised with small children. Before choosing a basenji, please thoroughly investigate the breed. Glendawn Basenjis are Best in Specialty Show, Best in Show, Class in Show, Best in Group and Class in Group winners. At the QLD Basenji Speciality In 2017, our boy Demon 'Aust Ch Remwin Wildaboutharry' took out the Best in Show. Our dogs have done us proud in the show ring and in their wonderful homes. Their loving temperaments and their steadiness under stress and trying times makes them great home companions and family pets. Prior to breeding, parents are DNA tested for PRA and Fanconi Syndrome as well as hip scored, with all pups being ANKC registered and DNA tested with Orivet to prove parentage. Every new owner is provided with a puppy pack and care package, which includes any additional information and dietary requirements. From two weeks of age, our babies are wormed every fortnight. At 6 weeks of age they are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and health tested by a registered veterinarian. We implement crate training and desensitisation to other dogs, cats and children. Our pups are handled from a very early age to ensure we raise friendly, inquisitive basenjis and to distinguish their temperaments so we can place them with the best homes possible. The name Wuliango means "little village dog" in Zandee. Our Breeding program is focused on health, temperament, conformance and, selecting Basenjis breeding pairs who have close African gene lines. Our foundation male Basenjis are: CH. Wuliango Sweet Dandelion (AI) 3/4 African bred Basenji. Sire: Am CH.CH Kibushi Nyanga Sweet Snapdragon (Imp USA). Dam: Kibishi Poppy of Yamboka (Imp USA). Red & White. PRA and Fanconi tested as clear. Gene colour tested as a Prue for Red. Hip tested under PenHip and AVA testing schemes. Tested under ACS eye testing scheme. Avongara Akua 1st generation African Basenji imported from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in 2011. Red & White. PRA and Fanconi tested as clear. Tested under the ACS eye testing scheme. Akua is registered with the African Stock Project, the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Australian National Kennel club (ANKC). All Basenjis with "Avongara" in their name identifies them as being registered foundation stock Basenjis from Africa. Wuliango Basenjis are well socialised and tested for: Fanconi, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), and have general eyes tests under the Australian Canine Eye Scheme. Beautiful Basenji litter born 13/04/2024, which makes these puppies 6 months old. Puppies are pedigreed and registered with the Australian National Kennel Club (ANKC). Free of Fanconi and tested for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) and PPM. Puppies are desexed and have all vaccinations for 1 year. This is Maya, she is a red and white 1.4 years old, desexed Basenji female, X show dog, who has an extremely sweet nature. Due to changed circumstances she is looking for her forever home. She would make an excellent companion Basenji. Maya enjoys playing, and gets on well with male Basenjis as her house mates. She walks well on a lead and is not over reactive to other dogs during a walk. She gets on well with older children, people in general, loves hugs. She travels well in a car, doesnt dig holes, and is not a Basenji escapologist. There are a lot of good things to say about Maya...
