Dogs NSW membership no: 2100015385 Basenjis are suitable for small homes, but they do require a secure outside area for them to sun themselves. They are active in the morning and the late afternoon when they like to get a walk or playtime, other than that they are pretty lazy and sleep a lot, very like greyhounds. They don't bark but if unhappy they can howl! We have been breeding and showing since 1999 when I got my 1st Basenji (Ch Teschi Pipers Tune) She won Dam of Day 4 times at our October Specialty, a record she still holds. She produced what is now a long line of Champions, the Bayenzi prefix appears in many pedigrees. The kennel has produced multiple BISS winners and we still enjoy showing. Our Basenjis live in the house and the pups are part of our family till they leave home at 9-10 weeks old, fully vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. I am a certified dog behaviouralist and make sure my pups are confident and happy, they are raised using gentle training methods that I share with new owners. I’m always happy to help other Basenji owners with training issues. We test for both Fanconi and PRA, so far we have had clear results in all our dogs so we can guarantee our dogs are clear by parentage. All new owners get a puppy pack and lifetime support for their new family member. We will always take a dog back if it needs rehoming for any reason.

Bayenzi Mze Blitzen (Maisy) is 5 months old, full vaccinated, council registered. Lead and toilet trained. Travels well in cars and loves other dogs and children. She was always my favourite puppy girl in my 2024 litter and had planned to show her, but it’s not her thing so we are offering her for adoption. Maisy is a pretty, sweet natured little girl, she would be best suited to a home where she has another pet companion, dog, cat, bird as she is used to being part of our small pack of 4 and has been raised in the house. After a period of Yes / No Yes / No Yes / No We are making available the sweetest waggiest tailed Brindle Girl you could ever hope to meet. In fact her being so sweet and cuddly has made us decide that life as a serious show girl is not for her. Bindy the brindle is just over 5 months old, adores people and other dogs. Ravi is a beautiful 3 year old, tri colour pure bred basenji. He is the most loving affectionate boy and absolutely loves his people. He would suit a family with a well fenced, secure backyard who have experience with the breed. He is definitely not of a breed where he can be be left outside at night. Basenji's are not for everyone so please do your research before making enquiry. They can be willful and have been described as having cat like traits. They keep themselves scrupulously clean and dislike rainy days intensely. This is Maya, she is a red and white 1.4 years old, desexed Basenji female, X show dog, who has an extremely sweet nature. Due to changed circumstances she is looking for her forever home. She would make an excellent companion Basenji. Maya enjoys playing, and gets on well with male Basenjis as her house mates. She walks well on a lead and is not over reactive to other dogs during a walk. She gets on well with older children, people in general, loves hugs. She travels well in a car, doesnt dig holes, and is not a Basenji escapologist. There are a lot of good things to say about Maya... Basenjis are not suitable to some lifestyles and environments...Maya will be avaialble to an approved home. All transport costs are the responibility of Maya's new family.
