Our kennel was established in 1986 with my other breed passion, Salukis.Home to Australia's first Azawakh and first Australian litter of 6,2 males and 4 females. Our dogs have been researched and sourced from noted breeders, combining some of the best desert and European bloodlines, taking us 13 years to achieve. Conformation,type,health and temperament are crucial. Our dogs live,eat and sleep inside with us, and have the run of the house and use of the furniture. This primitive breed is not just for anyone but needs a special person to appreciate the unique qualities and different mindset that is the Azawakh. Coming from such a vast, desolate,unforgiving area of north west Africa, this breed is tough,strong and extremely hardy. They are bred to firstly guard, herd and hunt and rely on no one for survival, but co habit with their Tuareg masters and have done so for thousands of years, unchanged. We aim to breed when we want to replace a dog, not for the market, so puppies may be a wait. Our aim is to maintain type, soundness, temperament and quality rather than quantity, keeping the inbreeding factor to under 5% in 10 generations for as long as possible. Enquiries are most welcome about the breed, including possible plans for any upcoming breeding/litters.

The Azawakh is an ancient rare and unique breed from West Africa, to be specific, the Sahelian desert area. The nomadic people that live with this breed view them as a guardian, hunter and status symbol. Having been forged over millennia by a harsh desert environment and the selective hand of man, they are possessed of unique physical, mental and aesthetic qualities. In Sahelian culture an Azawakh is prized for “djikku”-intensity of character, which is considered a sign of nobility. Our aim is to breed Azawakh, preserving the unique qualities and original function of the breed. Soundness is essential and with a lifetime of knowledge in breeding horses for competition we understand that correct structure is essential so our hounds can perform well in the show ring and lure coursing and any other chosen field of sport. Our dogs have excellent health passing health checks and all being tested for DCM and thyroid issues before breeding, with sound temperaments, that are trainable and bold. Living on a rural property means all our hounds have grown up on the farm proving themselves to be a versatile, extremely athletic to being sensible around livestock in particular our horses. All our hounds are well-socialised and live as part of the family and participate in many of our daily activities. Our dogs are successful in the show ring and lure coursing field proving their versatility.

Bichon Frise Pure Bred Puppies for Sale. Mother and Father are both Certified Pedigree Pure Bred Bichon Frise registered with Dogs QLD/ANKC. All parents have had full DNA profile testing for breed. Puppies will be registered on Limited Pedigree Pure Bred register complete with DNA profiling for parentage. Main register papers may also be considered if requested. Puppies are non-shedding and have a non-allergenic coat. All puppies will be vet checked, flea-controlled and wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and a beautiful puppy pack will be provided with information for new puppy owners. They will be ready for their new homes at 8 weeks of age. Puppies are bred and raised inside our home with my children and have been handled since birth. Interested persons are welcome to visit our home. Facetime will be offered to our interstate buyers. I would like the opportunity to choose well-loved forever homes for them and this takes time to find the right person/family. This way our new puppies families can name their puppies before they arrive to their forever homes, as we will begin the journey of crate and toilet training by using their chosen names. Our sweet, male purebred and pedigree Bichon Frise puppies are available early December. The puppies are vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. Amourchiot Bichon Frisé is delighted to announce the arrival of our latest litter. As a boutique breeder of the Bichon Frisé who shows, I health test the parents prior to breeding to produce quality, sound dogs that meet the breed standard and minimise the risk of hereditary diseases. I currently have two male and one female puppies available from quality Australian and International lines available. The puppies will be ready to go to their new homes in mid January 2025. The puppies have had their first health check and worming treatment. They will be vaccinated, flea and tick treated before going their new homes. They will be registered and come with a comprehensive puppy pack and ongoing support. Puppies can be visited following their first vaccination but I am happy to let you view them via FaceTime in the meantime. Interstate transportation can be arranged at buyers expense.
