Bred from well-known international show lines, our dogs undergo extensive health testing and experience appropriate socialisation to ensure easy transition to new homes. Welcome to Karelea Australian & Miniature American Shepherds. We are nestled between the mountains and the sea on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, and have had Aussies in our lives since 2008. We show our Aussies in conformation as well as train in herding and agility, and have titled our older girl (now retired) in both Obedience and Rally O. Our Aussies live as inside/outside dogs and are very much a part of our family. We aim to breed health tested, well bred Aussies that not only adhere to the breed standard, but have the brains and temperament required to suit all lifestyles. Our puppies are registered with Dogs NSW (ANKC). Microchipped, Vaccinated and wormed before they leave for their new homes.

Windy Valley Australian Shepherds All puppies come wormed fortnightly from two weeks of age, vaccinated, microchipped, vet checked, with a lifetime guarantee & a lifetime of support from me. We are passionate about health testing and ensuring the puppies we produce are of sound nature and quality. Puppies are registered in the puppy buyer’s name. No partnerships. Puppies are raised in a family environment and are brought up on the farm. They are exposed to a vast variety of farm life experiences. Puppies are also handled from birth by children, family, and friends to ensure they are well socialised. We are strong believers in hand feeding. One meal a day is hand fed to our puppies and adult dogs by myself and my children to encourage gentle food habits. We take pride in the way we raise our puppies and have had great success in this approach that when they leave, they are well handled, well socialised and are genuinely well-balanced puppies. Im taking orders. I may have red tri, black tri, blue merle, and red merles. Parents have all health tests required. My Aussies have great temperaments and are brought up being handled a lot and sometimes even trained pending when they leave here. Mature red tri female with a long bob tail will be looking for new adventures in February 2025. Registered ANKC. Maddy is a sweet natured and very loyal girl who has been raised on a farm and is obsessed with the side by side buggy. She adores going for rides, and will sit on it for ages even when it's not moving, just in case it goes somewhere without her ;) Maddy would ideally suit a lady owner, as she is not overly keen on human men, though she is fine to be handled by male vets etc. She does consider herself something of a watch dog and will bark at strangers to her home, and for this reason I feel that Maddy would best suit a home on acreage as she will probably be noisy with suburban foot traffic walking passed her gate if left to her own devices. However she could also suit a travelling home as she is easily controlled and polite when her human is present. She is gentle in her behaviour, good in the car, good for the vet and crate trained. She is social with other dogs in the home/friends however has never been to an off leash dog park. Maddy has been living with a family but their circumstances have changed and sadly she needs to find a new home. She is currently in season and will be desexed in January and will be ready to go to her new home after. Updated photos to come.
