Alkiralea is located on 100 acres of farming land on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW.

Our dogs possess loveable personalities, and are a great fit for families as companions, and those looking for intelligent pups to participate in obedience, agility and other dog sports. Bred from well-known international show lines, our dogs undergo extensive health testing and experience appropriate socialisation to ensure easy transition to new homes.

When you add an Alkiralea dog to your family, it is the start of a lifelong relationship with us. We take pride in ensuring we provide support at every stage of your ownership.

Our next litters will occur in 2025. We accept EOI's via our webpage. Transport is available all over Australia.

We are a small kennel that started with Border Collies 40 years ago and then our first Australian Shepherd joined us 25 years ago.

Our dogs have been active in many pastimes showing their versatility, such as showing, obedience, agility, herding, demonstrations and council information days. Their prime objective is being loving members of the family.

We don't breed often, generally when looking to add to our family/show-team.

We are a small kennel located in Newcastle where our dogs love to compete in various dog sports eg, Show, Obedience, Agility, and Nose Works with some Championship Titles.
Occasionally we have puppies available, and when we do, our puppies are happy and well-adjusted before going to their forever homes. As a breeder we strive to breed for great temperaments, type, and versatility whether it be show, performance, or a loveable family member.
We don't breed for color so please before looking at our puppies, have a look at their outgoing personality/type before going color as our puppies are beautiful both on the inside as well as out.
Puppies are either sold on main or limited register with ANKC and are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and DNA tested and will have all information in puppy folders including parents' information.
Parents are DNA tested, Eye tested, and Hip/Elbow Scored.

Our new puppies have arrived!

We have two males-
one Red Tri (full tail) & one Black Tri,
and four females-
two Black Tris (one long tail) one Red Merle & one Blue Merle.
They will be ready to leave for their new homes from the end of August, after Vet & Eye checks are completed and decisions on who is available are made.

They will be vaccinated, microchipped, wormed etc.
Registered with DOGSNSW on the Limit Register. (Not for showing or breeding, but can participate in a variety of dog sports if so desired).
They will come with a Puppy Pack, including information about them and their family, DNA, feeding and caring for, food etc.
Their parents are both Hip & Elbow Scored (as per regulations) and DNA tested.

We are proud to announce our upcoming litter, due mid July. All colours possible including blue merle, black tri, red merle and red tri.
Puppies are lovingly raised in our family home with ourselves, our children and are well socialised with people and a variety of animals.
Puppies leave home from eight weeks of age, regularly wormed, vaccinated, microchipped, health checked, eye screened by an ophthalmologist and come with an extensive puppy pack and ongoing breeder support.
Puppies will be due to leave for their new homes mid September, 2024. Interstate transport can also be arranged.
