Waikikamukau was established in 2002 with the purchase of Scandal a blue Merle dog Since then we have gone on to produce some tilted show dogs gaining championship and grand champions. As well as dogs gaining titles in obedience, agility, herding, DWD, Only a small kennel out last litter was in 2018, we only breed every so often, with temperament and health being very important. We had a break for a few years and look forward to continuing our legacy. All breeding dogs are hip/elbow scored, eye checks, DNA, etc... We are located in Tasmania and have a Facebook page

What attracted you to the Australian Shepherd to think about havng one join your family? Temperament, easy to train, family friendly, fun loving and good looking! So really the colour of the dog should not be the only thing you need to think about. Granted that you will have this dog in your life for 12-15 years. But if all the traits you are looking for just happen to come in a colour that is not quite what you had originally thought you would have, well, maybe get another down the line, and make that the colour of your preference! I have 3 beautiful black tri colour boys. All of whom are exhibiting the traits I mentioned above. 2 boys are now 6 months old and ready to learn some new skills with their new families. They love water and would love someone to call their own. The other boy is 3 months old, very laid back and ready to learn. All these boys have been raised with other dogs and cats. Are used to lots of farm noises, trucks, cars, horses, sheep etc etc. They started their lives in my home, underfoot and getting used to the usual household noises. We are excited to announce our babies are here and we have some absolutely gorgeous babies available Blue Merles possibly a Red tri and possibly a Black tri, Parents have all health tests required. My Aussies have great temperaments and are brought up being handled alot and sometimes even trained pending when they leave here. We have decided to move on our 2 year old Black Tri bitch (NBT and red factored). If you would be interested in having her as a guardian home we would be very interested to talk more about that. Must be located in SEQ. She is suited to a home with no children or at the youngest teenagers. She is fine with all adults and loves other dogs/animals but unfortunately was not socialised around children when she was young and in turn is scared of them. We have tried hard for the last 6 months to get her used to them but it’s come to a point where it’s not fair on her or the kids. Excellent dog just not suited to our family. She is DNA tested and clear. Has excellent hip and elbow scores. She is currently entire and on mains reg but can desex for a pet home.

Mature red tri female with a long bob tail will be looking for new adventures in February 2025. Registered ANKC. Maddy is a sweet natured and very loyal girl who has been raised on a farm and is obsessed with the side by side buggy. She adores going for rides, and will sit on it for ages even when it's not moving, just in case it goes somewhere without her ;) Maddy would ideally suit a lady owner, as she is not overly keen on human men, though she is fine to be handled by male vets etc. She does consider herself something of a watch dog and will bark at strangers to her home, and for this reason I feel that Maddy would best suit a home on acreage as she will probably be noisy with suburban foot traffic walking passed her gate if left to her own devices. However she could also suit a travelling home as she is easily controlled and polite when her human is present. She is gentle in her behaviour, good in the car, good for the vet and crate trained. She is social with other dogs in the home/friends however has never been to an off leash dog park. Maddy has been living with a family but their circumstances have changed and sadly she needs to find a new home. She is currently in season and will be desexed in January and will be ready to go to her new home after. Updated photos to come.

We have decided to let our lovely black tri boy Samba go to a pet home , Samba is 2yo, desexed and looking for a new couch to call his own. Samba is full of personality and will make his presence known, he loves to run, swim, play with his toys and most of all he loves to love on his people Samba is best suited to be on some acreage or good size backyard , he has not grown up around small children so better suited to a home with teenagers/adults. He is good with cats and other dogs , females will be better , he has been crate trained, lead trained , he has been washed and blowdried regularly from 8 weeks old.
