We are a small kennel located in Newcastle where our dogs love to compete in various dog sports eg, Show, Obedience, Agility, and Nose Works with some Championship Titles. Occasionally we have puppies available, and when we do, our puppies are happy and well-adjusted before going to their forever homes. As a breeder we strive to breed for great temperaments, type, and versatility whether it be show, performance, or a loveable family member. We don't breed for color so please before looking at our puppies, have a look at their outgoing personality/type before going color as our puppies are beautiful both on the inside as well as out. Puppies are either sold on main or limited register with ANKC and are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and DNA tested and will have all information in puppy folders including parents' information. Parents are DNA tested, Eye tested, and Hip/Elbow Scored.

Founded 1998, our quality filled kennel houses only the best and soundest imported lines. Breeders of multi Best & Runner Up In Show winners, Supreme & Grand Champions, Champions (20+), the second Agility Champion for the breed, and Obedience, Agility, Endurance, Fly Ball, Disc Dog and Herding titled dogs both in Australia & overseas. Our aim is to preserve the "Heart & Soul" of the Australian Shepherd for future generations to enjoy. Breeding with Type, Temperament and Versatility in mind, striving for mental, structural and genetic soundness. We have an exciting litter due December 2024, blue merle and black tris expected.

We are a small kennel, with a focus on temperament, health, wellbeing and generally happy sound dogs. Our dogs are Fully DNA tested, eye tested, Baer tested and Hip/ Elbow scored. They are regularly health checked and always kept up to date with all vaccinations, heartworm prevention and parasite control. First and foremost our dogs are our pets. They part of our family! They spend time Outdoors with us, they come with us on our adventures and help look after our other animals on our 200 acre working farm, and then they retire at night in front of the fireplace with us. We love exploring and showcasing what the breed was intended for and are involved in Herding with a recent herding title. We also compete in Conformation shows which have brought home a number of ribbons to date. Puppies are only occasionally available to approved pet homes only. They leave our farm with ANKC Pedigree papers on limited register (not for Breeding or Showing), Microchip, vaccinations current, parasite control and a puppy pack. Welcome to Karelea Australian & Miniature American Shepherds. We are nestled between the mountains and the sea on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, and have had Aussies in our lives since 2008. We show our Aussies in conformation as well as train in herding and agility, and have titled our older girl (now retired) in both Obedience and Rally O. Our Aussies live as inside/outside dogs and are very much a part of our family. Please note that this litter will NOT include any Red Tri or Red Merle's. The perfect home for our puppies would be one where they can be included in daily life, whether that be inside or out, and receive regular training and socialization to ensure they grow into a well-adjusted and equally well-behaved puppies. Im taking orders. I may have red tri, black tri, blue merle, and red merles. Parents have all health tests required. My Aussies have great temperaments and are brought up being handled a lot and sometimes even trained pending when they leave here. They will be vaccinated wormed regularly and puppy pack and a folder with health tests in them and some free pet insurance and my life time help if needed.

While we take your colour preference into consideration, our main priority is to match our puppies with the best fit family (energy level, personality, children, sport, or performance home etc). All our pet puppies are registered with Dog NSW on the limited register. This means that your companion cannot be bred from or shown in the conformation ring. This does not however restrict you from enjoying other exciting events such as obedience, rally-o, agility/jumping, herding, tracking, scent work or just enjoying each other’s company. Along with everything you see below, all pups are microchipped, and have eye clearances conducted by a canine Ophthalmologist before leaving. They come with an information and puppy pack including all parental health testing (which includes DNA, hips, elbows, and eye tests), flea/tick/heartworm/worming treatment. We have decided to let our lovely black tri boy Samba go to a pet home , Samba is 2yo, desexed and looking for a new couch to call his own. Samba is full of personality and will make his presence known, he loves to run, swim, play with his toys and most of all he loves to love on his people Samba is best suited to be on some acreage or good size backyard , he has not grown up around small children so better suited to a home with teenagers/adults. He is good with cats and other dogs , females will be better , he has been crate trained, lead trained , he has been washed and blowdried regularly from 8 weeks old. Mature red tri female with a long bob tail will be looking for new adventures in February 2025. Registered ANKC. Maddy is a sweet natured and very loyal girl who has been raised on a farm and is obsessed with the side by side buggy. She adores going for rides, and will sit on it for ages even when it's not moving, just in case it goes somewhere without her ;) Maddy would ideally suit a lady owner, as she is not overly keen on human men, though she is fine to be handled by male vets etc. She does consider herself something of a watch dog and will bark at strangers to her home, and for this reason I feel that Maddy would best suit a home on acreage as she will probably be noisy with suburban foot traffic walking passed her gate if left to her own devices. However she could also suit a travelling home as she is easily controlled and polite when her human is present. She is gentle in her behaviour, good in the car, good for the vet and crate trained. She is social with other dogs in the home/friends however has never been to an off leash dog park. Maddy has been living with a family but their circumstances have changed and sadly she needs to find a new home. She is currently in season and will be desexed in January and will be ready to go to her new home after. Updated photos to come.

We have available a beautiful 2yr old female Black Tri Australian Shepherd NBT her name is Giggles and has a beautiful pedigree behind her, through no fault of her own she has now become available as she was not suited to the show ring due to her size but would equally be suited to a performance home.
