We discovered this breed when we bought and fell in love with our first Aussie almost 10 years ago. Ever since then we wanted to explore and find out more about the breed. What stands out for us the most is that every Aussie is unique. They are loyal and affectionate dogs to the people they are most bonded with. They do best with plenty of human companionship: they are often called "Velcro dogs" for their strong desire to always be near their owners and for their tendency to form intense, devoted bonds with select people. Aussies have very keen minds and sharp observation skills, always looking for patterns and reading your every mood. With good training they can become a highly skilled dog. We aim to produce dogs of a high standard for families who are looking for their next best friend. They will also be suited to herding and agility. Our dogs are part of our family and are always by our side. Our puppies will be well socialised and around children and adults of all ages. All of our puppies will be health tested and will be on the limited registry with papers. Warning! Once you own an Aussie you will be hooked!

I have owned an Aussie since 1996 and the first AusFX litter was born in 2011. Puppies are raised using Puppy Culture protocols. PC teaches the puppy to be an enrichment seeker, and gives them a voice, generally resulting in a calmer, happier, more balanced puppy.

Puppies are evaluated at 8 weeks against the breed standard for structural soundness. They are microchipped, vet checked and vaccinated, eye tested, and registered with Dogs Victoria before going to their new homes. All applicable health testing is done on breeding dogs. Much time and research goes into researching pedigrees and selecting parents with sound temperaments who complement each other's conformation.

AusFX dogs are successfully competing in conformation, herding, endurance, obedience, rally-o, agility, tricks, scentwork and more.

Details of available puppies and dogs are listed on the AusFX Web site. I am happy to discuss your requirements, be they competitive or companion, in order to make the most suitable home match for every puppy. Please note that I do not place puppies based solely on physical characteristics (which is only a small part of the whole package), instead concentrating on best personality fit to each pup’s new home.

Jadziah Australian Shepherds is the home of my first Aussie and Aust Champion Marashar Dancing Waters ADM JDM SD HT who came to us in 2001. Splash is a true combination of beauty and brains. And her sons Jadziah Super Sonic ADM JDM SPD HT 'Jet' and Jadziah Super Sleuth 'Holmes' are following in their mother's footsteps.

Azra has a wonderful side gait, energy to burn, and a cute little wriggly butt! Azra also has 2 gorgeous kids from Bobby (Am/NZ/Aust Ch Alnairs The Guardian) - Jadziah Here Comes the Sun 'Sunny' and Jadziah Walking on Sunshine 'Achilles' who will be shown sparingly.

We generally only show in the conformation ring long enough to title our dogs, then it's into the fun stuff of agility competitions.

All breeding parents are Hip Scored, Eye Tested, CEA DNA Tested.

Ausdreaming is a small kennel situated in Somerville. We bought our first Aussie in 2005, he was a blue merle and he was every thing that we believed that the breed should be, intelligent, good temperament, strong instincts and a great on/off switch.

Indy is looking for a place to call her own. She's a beautiful 4 month old puppy bred by Trumyra Australian Shepherds in Qld and is currently in Victoria. She came to Mainstreet to be a show dog but it's been decided she'll be happier as a family pet. Indy is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, is used to a regular grooming routine and is fully vaccinated. She's smart, cuddly and lots of fun and gets on well with other dogs. She recently starred at the Dog Lovers Festival in Melbourne and was quite a hit with the hundreds of visitors there who passed by and stopped at the Dogs Victoria stand. She has no health issues, no allergies and isn't fussy about food. She's going to be a fabulous pet for some lucky family. Ausdreaming Cant Stop (Scout) has been mated to Skyepark Braveheart (Bear) and the litter will be due on Boxing Day 2024.
Scout is a Red Tri and Bear is a Blue merle who is Red Factored, so this litter will have the potential to have all colours.
Pups will be reared at home and socialise with mum, and grandfather, aunt and Bandit who is the Surrogate Mum (just loves all pups and has the greatest patience with little ones) For the first 4- weeks of their lives they will be reared inside our home and then they will be introduced to our large outside enclosure complete with visual stimuli and safe and comfortable sleeping area with hay bales and kennels. During the day they will be able to enjoy running around on our 2 acre property.
Both parents have excellent Hips, Elbows and eyes cleared every year. Both have been DNA profiled and have been chosen for structure and temperament.
Pups wlil be wormed, mirochipped, inocculated and have their eyes cleared prior to leaving our care.
The pups will undergo Temperament Testing at 6 weeks to ensure that pups are matched with the perfect Adopting Parents.
Pups will be available to go to their new home by the end of February 2025.
