Breeder of quality Australian Kelpies - Red, Chocolate & Black. Watersedge Kennels was established in 1993 with the purchase of my first show Kelpie. Kelpies were already an integral part of my life prior to this as my grandmother was a breeder of working dogs. My early life was spent on horseback with a Kelpie by my side. I cannot imagine not having these wonderful dogs as my companions. Puppies sometimes available. Breed enquiries welcome.

I have been been involved in the Australian Keplie breed for over 20yrs with another Kelpie breeder. I have been a member of the Aust Kelpie club of NSW since 1996 and been on their committee in many positions over many years. I am currently the clubs President. I purchased a Aust Kelpie from Julie Corin( Corindell Kelpies) in NZ) in 2016. I plan to breed and continue showing Kelpies to help promote this wondering breed. All future stock will be hip and elbow score and tested for any health issues within our breed.

Breeding quality Australian Kelpies for performance, the show ring, and as a great pet. My own dogs compete in almost every "doggy discipline" they are eligible for - shows, obedience, rally, agility, endurance, herding, dances with dogs, tricks and scent work. Our dogs are raised in the house, given Early Neurological Stimulation and raised on raw natural food only. All breeding dogs are hip and elbow x-rayed, eye checked and heart checked by a cardiologist every year. Dogs NSW Number 2000742290, NSW Breeder Identification number - B000615071. Winner - Best Breeder of Australian Kelpies on Dogzonline Pointscore 2017 and 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022. The comp was suspended in 2020 due to Covid. In 2022 the comp was split in to best performance breeder and best show breeder and we still won both. We also managed Best Breeder of all Working Dogs in 2018, and number 4 nationally across all groups. Again 4th best breeder across all groups in 2019. In 2023 we won Best Performance Breeder of kelpies nationally and 2nd across all breeds nationally. Same in 2024.
