Thank you for visiting our Breeder Listing - Nuwarra Australian Cattle Dogs. We have owned &trained ACD’s since 1992. We loved them so much we moved into showing and become registered ANKC breeders. We are situated in the beautiful Hawkesbury Valley, near Windsor in NSW, our dogs live on acreage.

We don't breed often, but when we do, we breed the very best Australian Cattle Dog with correct structure, beautiful boofy heads with excellent temperaments. As anyone who has been owned by an ACD knows, once you have owned one there is no other breed. They become your life and your best mate forever.

Our dogs are our life, we put a lot of time into our dogs. All our dogs are so loved, they are our family. We love to do obedience, showing and fun with our dogs.

So many have thrived on their training and love people, that they have been chosen for TV adds where they work off lead on a very busy film set with lots of people.

A NUWARRA puppy, will suit any loving home with our puppies having been exported overseas and are in many states of Aust. Our puppy owners say, “it's the best dog they have ever owned”!

I am truly blessed and honoured to have been entrusted with four stunning, solid, red Australian Cattle Dogs. We are only a small kennel and only breed occassionally. At Maehonehe ACD's "The Red Ones" - I believe in meeting all of our dogs needs - body, mind and soul. Our fur kids show and trial. I am working hard to establish a full trialling team where all the furkids particpate in the performance sports, as well as showing.
When we are not training or competing the fur kids love nothing more than to go for a swim and play.

Erudite Kennels are focused of producing Australian Cattle Dogs with functionality, without foregoing the original working type.

We breed genuine working Australian Cattle Dogs, dogs with the proven talent, intelligence, ability and trainability. Our dogs work cattle and sheep, in the paddock and the yards. We are proud to share many videos of the dogs at work - we prove their ability.

Our dogs have relaxed minds, like to chill when not working and are athletic which makes them perfect for active people, performance homes, and of course working.

We're the only people in Australia to have trained multiple herding High in Trial winners - on sheep, cattle and ducks.

We have imported a number of different bloodlines in our quest to produce exceptional dogs. January 2024 sees the arrival of our French bred dog - as we chase the ability which comes down from Lassic Blue Hawk.

Our dogs can be shown, especially under judges who appreciate what makes a working dog a working dog!

Pups will be DogsNSW registered, regularly wormed, micro-chipped, 1st & 2nd C3 vaccinations, hearing tested, clear for both PRA & PLL, and vet checked. These pups will be suitable for work, show, family pet, performance sports or best mate. Heelersridge puppies have great drive and are keen to learn, they are handled daily from birth and have been exposed to noises and activities that are normal within an active family environment.
