Turrella Kennels was established in 1949 by Cheryls father Alf Ouley (kennel is now 70 years old).The dogs are handled by both Cheryl & Arthur.The Turrella dogs are well known, winning at many major shows with multiple Best In Shows All Breeds, Specialty & Semi Specialty shows. Breeding both red & blue cattle dogs, & producing 69 champion titles so far worldwide & two grand champions, 1 International,3 neutered champions (Queenie was the first to title in Aust.),1 CD,1 CDX,1 AD & 1JD. Exporting 74 dogs to 20 countries. Our dogs are tested for PRA, HIP & ELBOW SCORED & BAER TESTED. When exporting, these tests & good test results are important. Frozen semen is now available in USA, through Scrubbycreek kennels (Mark Bamberry).We have frozen semen in Australia, with Progenetics (Grant Chalk) but could not get it off him, was trying for 2 years, had 3 tribunals at court, was finally converted to cash in court, garnishee orders got my money.

Cheryl is the author of the book "OLD TIMERS",information about cattle dogs & their breeders up to 1970. Book can be purchased direct from Cheryl for $50 ( was $70) plus $14 postage.
On the 30/9/08, Cheryl judged the Dog/Bitch & Veteran Sweepstakes at the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America 2008 National Specialty in Pennsylvania. This was very special & interesting Cheryl.
