"Swampyblue" is a recently established small kennel based in West Gippsland Victoria. Here at "Swampyblue" my dogs live as part of the family on the farm. My aim is to produce the occasional litter, breeding true to type with a natural working instinct whose loyalty will drive them to please and protect making them not only handy working dogs but also great family pets. My beautiful bitch "Pagesview Quick Queenie" displays the attributes of the breed, intelligence and loyalty with a super temperament. Physically she is true to type, robust with a broad head and small ears.

Our beautiful girls are wonderful dogs, fantastic with my children, they are very loving and gentle. They are also terrific guard dogs always letting you know if a stranger is about and they are good workers on our farm. All my girls have good conformation, colour and are very intelligent and obedient, whether it is fetching a ball, working cattle, socialising with other dogs or resting by the tent when camping, this making them versatile companions. We have decided to breed these girls because of these characteristics. Puppies will be suitable for working farms, showing, family pets and those wanting a guard dog. My females are PLL 'A' (clear) and PRA 'A' (clear). Our own stud dog is PLL 'A' (clear) & PRA 'A' (clear).

I was 7 years old when I owned my first pure bred Cattle Dog. I am now well into retirement and I spend countless hours with my dogs and needless to say love this breed. My breeding stock is from renowned bloodlines, that exhibit strength in bone and head, have excellent temperament and quality. I breed for the old style cattle dog, not the "fine", "kelpie type" that has been fashioned for the show ring. My clients inevitabily become my friends as they also experience the bonding with an Australian Cattle Dog. Cubbie is a 3 year old desexed cattle dog, he has been shown and is a few points shy of his championship. He is a very loyal dog who would suit an experienced cattle dog owner. He is clear of any genetic disease and is available for the price of vet work at $700. He is fully crate trained and has strong recall when offlead.
