Suliman kennels is located in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, owned and bred by Kerin, Kerry & Rachel Hutchings. We have been involved with afghan hounds since 1973, and have since succeeded in selectively breeding afghans which have sound temperament, elegance & substance.

We have enjoyed much success over the last 3 decades of showing, and in recent years have bred, owned and handled Australia’s #1 Afghan Hound for 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019. Through hard work and dedication to the breed, we have accomplished more than 100 Best in Shows and 50 reserve Best in Shows, consistently winning at some of Australia’s most prestigious all breed shows.

However, our success has not just been for us here in Australia, but also to those around the globe, having bred many champions and best in show winners in over 8 different countries.

We at Suliman welcome all newcomers to the breed, as well as those who have had and shared the love for Afghan Hounds for many years. We occasionally have puppies available and pride ourselves on providing lifetime support and guidance to all those who purchase a Suliman puppy, whether that be as a loving member of your pet or show home family.

My puppies are raised in the home where they can be watched and socialised well with people and other dogs aswell as being able to play outside on the grass during the nicer weather.
