Judge Profile

As a child my family always had a Black Labrador Retriever my father thought they were the only dog to own. In conjunction with my husband we have been exhibiting German Shorthaired Pointers since 1990 breeding our first litter of GSP’s under the Gershopoin prefix with the vision to produce dual purpose German Shorthaired Pointers we have to date bred and made up 5 Dual Champions in the Show and Field. Titled dogs to their Show titles Field titles, Grand Champion title and Supreme Champion title. My most memorable accomplishment being awarded both Challenges, Best in Show and Puppy in Show at the 1998 National GSP Speciality. I added Borzois to our kennel in 1994 and have been successful in the show ring at AllBreeds and Speciality level. I have an avid interest in Labrador Retrievers, English Pointers and English Cocker Spaniels having campaigned several to their show titles.

In 2009 Smooth Fox Terriers, Parson Russell Terrier and Jack Russell Terriers joined our kennel – though we still have a German Shorthaired Pointer my husband works and is active in both judging and competing in Retrieving Trials.

In 2016, English Pointers also joined our Kennel. We are fortunate our foundation Pointers in Australia are from highly respected RHYLL Pointers and are successfully campaigned in the showring under the guidance of our daughter Olivia, using the Typhoone prefix which was the original New Zealand family Kennel prefix that dates back to 1945.
