In 1978 I bought my first Staffordshire Bull Terrier and so began a passion for the breed which continues to this day.
I bred my first litter in NZ in 1981 under the Warmaster kennel name. Unfortunately this name is not available in Australia and I now use Blackshot as my affix.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to meet many icons of the breed, canine and human, and cherish these memories and the knowledge so freely given.
While still in NZ I owned and showed a race-bred Greyhound and the first Portuguese Water Dog registered with the NZKC, as well as regularly showing Japanese Chins, Chinese Cresteds, Bullmastiffs and Scottish Terriers over the years.
In more recent times my partner Steve & I have become proud owners of some beautiful Border Terriers, one of became a Supreme Champion & a Senior Earthdog title holder.
