I began showing and breeding dogs in 1975 and I have been involved with Dobermanns since 1977, my love and passion for this beautiful breed has remained until the present time. I have bred and shown Dobermanns with a great deal of success having bred multiple Champions and Best in Show winners, having lost my last Dobermann this year, I no longer show them, but they will always hold a special place in my heart.
I began my involvement with terriers in 2000 with Lakeland Terrier and had considerable success breeding and showing these spunky little terriers for many years with multiple champions and Best in Show winners.
In 2021, I ventured into the world of Kerry Blue terriers which began a huge learning curve in the art of presentation, however this journey has brought great success, recognition and some wonderful wins including multiple Best in Shows and SA's Runner Up Dog of the Year in 2023.
I have been actively involved in various activities within the pedigree dog world, a member of many breed committees, in particular Chair of the Dog of the Year committee for several years, and a member of Dogs SA's Council for six years.
I am currently licensed to judge Toys, Terriers, Gundogs, Working dogs, Utility and Non-Sporting Groups at championship level and I am a trainee for the Hound Groups.
I thoroughly enjoy judging and have had the pleasure of judging across Australia, including the pleasure of judging the WA Terrier Club Show, and the Dobermann Club of WA Specialty.
