I have been involved in the dog world all my life, growing up with Old English Sheepdogs and Borzois that my parents (John & Bet Tremellen of Nellemert Kennels) owned and exhibited. My brother and myself at the tender age of 10 got involved in Australian Kelpies, which I had great success breeding and exhibiting gaining many Australian Champions titles, obedience titles and working titles. I lost my last Australian Kelpie in 2012.
When I married my husband we purchased our first Alaskan Malamute from Shelley and Merv Turner of Kataku Kennels in 1994 and have been in that breed ever since. Now my daughter Abbey has taken over showing the Alaskan Malamutes and is doing exceptionally well.
I have had my Group 5 licence since 1997 and gained my Group 6 licence two years later. I have judged in most States of Australia and have enjoyed all my experiences as a judge. I am now recently licensed to judge Groups 3 & 7.
