For me it all started Over 40 years ago, of course when I was just a little girl and to this day Golden Retrievers are a big part of my life and my passion. I then started Showing, competing in the child handlers and obedience training which was great fun and in 1984 went on to win the Pal Junior Child handlers at the Brisbane Royal 13 to under 17years.
We have bred and I continue to breed some very lovely dogs, some of which have won Best In Shows, Multiple classes in Group and In Shows at Speciality shows and all breed shows throughout Australia and made up many Grand Champions, our dogs have been successful on type, conformation and movement.
In 2004 we went to England and Crufts and I was privileged to handle a Golden Retriever in one of the largest classes at that time, winning 1st place in the “Mid Limit Bitch Class”, an Awesome experience to be a part of such a prestigious show, to handle and win the largest class recorded at the time, one I will never forget and am so thankful to have had the opportunity.
An ANKC approved Judge with Group 3 and 2 at Championship & 2 groups at Open Show level, I have judged at Speciality's shows for Golden Retrievers in New Zealand, Tasmania, Western Australia and Group 3 appointments in N.S.W and of course Qld.
