Andrew Kidd has significant experience judging across Australia and around the world. His experience started with Papillons, a breed he owned, bred and judged for 35 years. Marion and Andrew were particularly known for their elegant Phalenes. Currently showing white Schnauzers (Miniature) and Shih Tzus, in his over 50 years of exhibiting he has also had Tibetan Spaniels, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, a Kerry Blue, Affenpinschers and Italian Greyhounds.
Since 1986 he has been known as a Schnauzer specialist, starting with Minis Andrew with his wife, Marion, soon adopted the Schnauzer (aka standard schnauzers) as their own. Under the Remporter prefix they bred numerous American, Canadian and New Zealand Champions as well as Australian Grand Champions.
In 2020 Marion and Andrew started showing Shin Tzus, again with tremendous success.
Andrew's judging experience includes judging in the USA on 6 separate trips. He has judged in Ireland twice, the UK, Canada twice and Switzerland. He has also judged in SA, WA, Queensland, NSW, Tasmania and Victoria as well as both the North and South Islands of New Zealand. He is an accredited judges' mentor and assessor.
