Started judging Group 5 at Open show level in 1998 and passed my championship licence in 2000.
My first big appointment was to be invited to judge at the German Shetland Sheepdog Nationl 2000. I also judged at the Stuttgart All Breeds KC the following week, judging Border Collies (with a record entry in this breed for Germany), Collies Smooth and Corgie Pembroke. My Corgie baby winner going Baby in Show that weekend from a very big entry.
I have judged my breed at specialty level in Western Australia, New South Wales, Tasmania, Canberra and New Zealand twice.
I have judged Shetland Sheepdogs in Finland at the Lahti International 2006. Missing out on the record entry for my breed by one exhibit. My BOB winner won the Pastoral Group with over 3,000 entries.
I have judged group 5 in every state of Australia.
Have judged Group 1 on many occasions in Victoria and South Australia, and group 7 several times in Victoria.
I judged the British Bulldog and French Bulldog specialty championship show in Christchurch, New Zealand 2010.
My next overseas appointment is very exciting as I travel back to Finland to judge Shetland Sheepdogs and several Toy breeds at the SAWO International next August 2014 a week before the World Dog Show held in Helsinki, Finland. Needless to say I will be staying to watch the World Show a dream of mine.
I will be travelling down to Italy, Germany and possibly Sweden for other judging appointments while in Europe 2014.
