Bronwyn and I joined the Canine Control Council (Qld) in 1980. For the past 41 years we have been extremely privileged to have bred, owned, co-owned and exhibited some of Australia's very best Labrador Retrievers. In 2012 our daughter Karly purchased her companion dog Calvin - a very handsome Tri Color male. More recently Bronwyn purchased a lovely Blenheim bitch which we call Lori. On the 27th May 2021 we welcomed our first litter of Blenheim baby puppies. We plan to keep the best bitch for ourselves and Bronwyn hopes to exhibit this youngster during October of this year.

I have been breeding for 30+ years and have been a member of The Cavalier Club of NSW for that time. My home bred Cavaliers have been successfully exhibited in Conformation, trialed in Obedience and Agility (both here and the USA) and achieved their Endurance certification. They have become loving and loved members of their new families. My Cavaliers are whelped and raised with love and care within my family home and are well on the way to being toilet trained. They have been: Vet Checked Fully Vaccinated Microchipped Wormed every 2 weeks since birth And have been weaned onto Royal Canin Puppy food. Our dogs are all Specialist Health Tested, and full breed profile DNA tested (not just for EFS and CCDE). Our dogs are part of our family and our puppies are raised in a home atmosphere, with loads of attention and socialising. We show when we can and breed with a view to maintaining quality in the breed. We have all four colours. We breed only with our own dogs, continually striving to uphold high principals of breeding, take every step to ensure that show, breeding or pet families receive quality, true to type, healthy puppies from us and that we act as responsible and trustworthy breeders. Our well loved and cared for dogs and facilities are openly displayed on our website. Visits are by appointment only. Puppies receive a thorough vet check and Health Certificate prior to transferring to new approved show, breeding or pet homes. Our dogs are well loved, happy and healthy individuals running free on large grassy areas with their every need met willingly and lovingly. No cages or small pens for our kids. Our dogs are only too pleased to show any visitor just how happy and healthy they are. We register our litters with Dogs Qld (ANKC), pet puppies are on Limited Registration, and main registration is provided for genuine showers or breeders. At Houseofcavs we are very dedicated to the breed and strive for an improved outcome with every litter. All of our breeding dogs are DNA tested, Health Checked, Vaccinated and Checked for Eyes and Heart conditions at Specialists. All puppies will go on limited registration only. Our puppies are vet checked, vaccinated once, flea and tick prevention, micro-chipped, wormed fortnightly from 2 weeks, and will be veterinarian health checked. We will start toilet training and the using of the doggy door, by the time they come to you. Only the best home will do for our Puppies!
