Blashadon Hungarian Vizslas is a boutique kennel with the objective to improve the quality of our Vizslas via carefully planned matings We aim to produce puppies of exceptional quality with matings only to those that have clear DNA health checks and excellent hip and elbow results. Puppies are raised on premium feed, regular worming at 2 week intervals from 2 weeks to 12 weeks, vaccinated, microchipped and health checks at 6 weeks. Puppies will come with ANKC (Dogs Vic) pedigrees on the limited register (which means not for breeding, show or export). We have been breeding vizslas for over 10 years. I have been hunting for 40 years with many different breeds. I fell in love with vizslas and I got my first vizsla Lara 13 years ago in 2011. Lara was a great hunting dog, hunting quail and retrieving ducks. We said goodbye to our dear friend in early 2022. She gave me great pleasure and enjoyment when I went out hunting. Lara was wonderful at home with the family and very friendly. She was like velcro. She was bred from international hunting blood lines and show lines. To replace her I started breeding. The photo is Marley one of Lara's pups which I kept. I also kept a daughter Lexi. To keep the strong hunting lines, I imported a bitch Xena from a US hunting kennel. Xena has been mated and is pregnant and expecting pups early December 24. Xena is a small vizsla. The father is a medium dog so the puppies are likely to be small to medium when grown. All our adult Vizslas are sold as family companions only (ie not for breeding or show). They come registered with Dogs Australia which means you can do dog sports if you are interested in this.
