Lukota is a small scale breeder and our dogs are our family. We have both working line and show lines. We are the 3rd generation GSD breeders in our family and have had German shepherds most of our life’s We are active in both Obedience shows and Conformation shows and really believe in only breeding to better the breed. We focus a lot on temperament and breeding well rounded dogs. Our German Shepherds make great family pets with beautiful sound and solid temperaments Our pups are raised on 100+ acres and are exposed to all types of animals, loud sounds and machinery. As a dog trainer I put a lot of effort, training and environmental exposure and early neurological stimulation into our pups in the critical time of their life to try and ensure well rounded and confident and extremely outgoing puppies.

We are a small breeder in the Yarra Valley area specializing in breeding GSD's in line with the recommendations within the German Shepherd Dog Club of Victoria and German Shepherd Dog Council of Aust. Our pups are bred for excellent health & temperament foremost and are predominantly for obedience and family pets. Both parents obtaining their hip & elbow scores together with completed breed surveys.

Bronacre breeds top quality German Shepherd Dogs. Our bitches carry the Long Stock Coat gene and our litters generally contain Long Stock Coats. Our Long Stock Coats are of a superior quality and are suitable for the serious competitor. Ch. She is prey driven so not recommended with small animals and cats but does have good recall. Good on lead and she is crate trained. She is good with dogs in your own home but she can be defensive if another dog gets to close to her out and about. She walks past other dogs no worries but she is not interested in any contact with them. She currently lives with 10 shepherds (4 Boys & 6 girls) with no issues. She has done abit of lure coursing which she loves but would be better at sprint dog as she doesn't like to run to far from her owner. I purchased her for dog sports as well as breeding however I have since found out her siblings also have some sort of reactivity which makes it a genetic component rather than learnt or unsocialized behavior which I don't want to breed with a dog like this. She did have one accidental litter and she also wasn't a great mother either. So I'd prefer her to be able to live as someone's companion/walking/ running companion. I'm asking $1800 and she has been desexed and up to date with all her vet work.
