Lumottu is the Finnish word for Enchanted and that is what sums up a Finnish Lapphund for me, Enchanting. I fell in love with the breed in 2009 and have since added two into my household. Along with my dogs I enjoy my weekends attending conformation shows as well as obedience classes. Lappies fit into a household with ease. Happy to be out and about or sleeping on the couch. Lumottu is a small kennel situated just outside of Melbourne.

Having involved in showing Finnish Lapphunds since 2015, Hueze kennels is excited for the arrival of our foundation bitch from Finland for our breeding program to fulfil our growing passion for the breed. We enjoy Conformation Showing and Agility - however our dogs are first and foremost a big part of the family. As we are a boutique kennel, we will only have one or two litters of puppies each year. We have been showing dogs for 30 years, including Malamutes and Australian Shepherds. We also enjoy competing in Agility, Obedience, Rally and Sled Dog Sports and like to keep our dogs active in mind, spirit and physical condition. We are a small kennel in North East Victoria and only breed occasionally, when we are in a position to keep progeny for ourselves and hopefully improve on the quality, health and temperaments that we already have. All puppies are health tested and have a guarantee of lifetime support from us. The enchanting Finnish Lapphund entered our lives in 2012 and we are very fortunate to have 4 beautiful Lappies that rule our world. We also have one of Tawnee's lovely kids Chaz - CH Polarpaws Black Diamond CD RA ADX JDX SPDX SD WNPD and the newest member, young Ellie - Aetozee Beverly Kills at Polarpaws We consider Lappies an 'all round' breed, very trainable for most sports but their spitz temperament still shines through, which is what makes them special and at times challenging! Very talented and smart but also cheeky, naughty and super fun. We welcome all general enquires, we don't have any litters planned for the near future.

We are expecting some lovely sweet temperatments in this litter, with cream and possibly wolf sable puppies likely. The grand-dam of this litter is our lovely multi international champion, Miia, and the sire's lines go back to notable Finnish and Swedish champions. Most importantly, we are expecting lovely, moderate puppies with even temperaments, typical of our gorgeous breed. With almost 2 decades in our breed, lappies we have bred have been muliti best in show winners, gained dog sports and obedience titles, and most importantly are well loved family members. We are not commercial or 'intensive' breeders, and our litters are raised in our home as loved family members. Reko is a loving boy who is now looking for his forever home. He is good with female dogs and has been with a non aggressive male. He will react to males if the show dominance to him. He initially was fantastic in his first home. He has been a kennel dog since around 5 months of age. He really needs a loving home with someone that will be home a lot. He is not a nuisance barker.
