I’m a breeder of long haired miniature dachshunds based in northern nsw. Currently have pups available.

Schlau Miniature Long Haired Dachshunds is a small select kennel that has specialised in the breeding and showing of this variety for 45 years with in excess of fifty Australian and International Champions. We are constantly striving to improve the breed as a whole with carefully planned breeding programs and a natural diet, which enhances the health and wellbeing of the puppies that we breed. We usually only breed to enhance our show team but sometimes have puppies and mature dogs available to loving homes. All puppies are provided with a puppy pack, limited registration papers, will have been on a regular worming program from 2 weeks of age, vaccinated and micro-chipped before going to their new homes. In working to improve the breed all stock has been PRA tested. Wolfie is a 5 month old male Black and Tan miniature long haired dachshund looking for his forever home. Wolfie is the last remaining puppy from his litter who was kept as a potential show dog. He has sound confirmation and correct type but letting him find his forever home due to not having enough time to put into him for the show ring. He gets on well with other dogs, not tested with cats. He is looking for a loving home who have the time for him. ANKC mains registration. Microchipped. Vaccinated.

We are a small family based breeder in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Our pups are raised in our family home where they are well socialised and receive full time care and supervision. Our lines have been imported from South Africa from Champion stock. Our focus is on breeding quality companion dogs with good form and temperament. Our pups come with an ANKC Pedigree Certificate (Limited Register), a full DNA profile of parents showing disease free, a microchip, up to date vaccinations, up to date worming, puppy pack (blanket from mum, advice documents, small bag of food etc) and ongoing support. Gorgeous 6 week old litter who are looking for their forever homes now. Born 16 December 2024 from cream stud out of black/cream pointed dam; 1 cream (shaded) girl (will go completely cream by 6 months) 1 cream (shaded) boy (will go completely cream by 6 months) 1 black/cream pointed girl 2 cream (shaded) girls BOTH SOLD These puppies have the most beautiful temperaments already which is no surprise as both mum and dad do too. Both parents are social, friendly and happy with other dogs and people. Mum loves the beach, the water and to chase a ball and of course a cuddle! Both parents have been shown and are not anxious or nervous and non of these puppies are showing these traits either. They are happy and contented, playing well and enjoying all sorts of new foods! In the Sire achieved his Champion title in 2024 at only 2 years old and is located Newcastle area, mum is nearly 2 and has also been shown. Puppies are located Mid North Coast near Port Macquarie and will be looking for their forever homes in February 2025.

All the dachshunds are raised on a fresh raw food diet that Is considerate to their age and individual needs. I pride myself in raising well tempered animals that can go on to make loving companions.
