We selectively breed quality Lowchen aiming at healthy, well adjusted happy animals for companions, show ring and other disciplines. Our puppies are raised in the house and are well socialised. Kilgarrin Estate is situated on 20 acres in Western Victoria, where our Lowchen and Performance Horses reside. Whether you want a Lowchen as a pet, show dog or for dog sports, we can assist you! We became involved in the dog world in 1979 with our first Dalmatian. After showing and breeding Dalmatians successfully for some time, we fell in love with the very cheeky and lovable Lowchen in the mid 1980's with the introduction of Ardgowan Crackerjack (Imp NZ) (Jack) to our Dalmatian owned home. We soon fell under the spell of their wonderful clownlike personalities and added Lyoncourt Lancelot (Ben) and Paceaway Larapinta (Misty) to our home. Our first litter from Ben and Misty in 1992 produced the Best In Show (All Breeds)winning Ch Rondaglen Sir Galahad and Ch Rondaglen Lady Othelake. Now producing quality puppies with both imported and Australian lines, we are proud to announce that we bred the first Australian Lowchen to attain both conformation and obedience titles - Aust Ch Rondaglen Parti Fashion UD, owned and handled by Miss I Bilney, followed by Rondaglen My Fair Lady (CDX) owned and trialled by Charmaine Lee. Our breeding is now being successfully shown in Victoria and South Australia with multiple Royal Show best of breeds being awarded both to Rondaglen Lowchen and now the second generation - Lowensque Lowchen bred and handled by Courtney Tulk. Currently having success in the ring with Angel (Gr Ch Rondaglen Heaven Sent) from our first Rondaglen/Lowensque litter. A new addition to the family is Banjo (Rondaglen Take A Bow) who will be at stud to approved bitches when he matures,

We are pleased to take enquiries for our next litter due to be born at end Feb/very early March (ready for new homes end April), from our beautiful girl Pink (Ch Amicileale Lady Belladonna). Whilst we do already have a wait list, there should be puppies available. I am happy to ship interstate or to consider overseas homes. We have been dedicated to this breed since 2009, with all litters raised using puppy culture protocols to ensure they get the best start in life. We have been blessed with some beautiful Lagotto Romagnolo, with excellent temperament, to start with them in the show ring! I am so happy with what we’ve achieved in our first few years with this breed ( we also have WHW Terriers) And now we finally have our own litter of little curly puppies from our amazing foundation bitch ‘Callie’. Born on Christmas Eve 2024. Callie is 3 and has had an exceptional career, becoming an Australian champion at 9 months, grand champion at 2 years and is also the first Lagotto to attain both her A2O and C.I.B titles!! She was Best in Show at the Lagotto Romagnolo breed specialty show, Sydney Royal in 2023 and has also won several Best in Groups, runner up Best in groups and Class in show awards. But the most important thing is that she is an absolute delight and wins hearts wherever she goes! Puppies sire ‘Ziggy’ JWW '23, EUJW'23 Aust Ch Bombadee Lucky Strike (IMP POL) arrived from Europe at the end of 2023 and also has an amazing, friendly temperament and a coat curl to to die for! This litter was bred for ourselves to have progeny of this wonderful girl out showing in 2025 but we may have a couple looking for new homes in 2025 so enquiries are welcome @lahdedah_lagotto

We are delighted to announce the anticipated arrival of Lagotto puppies from ‘Sara’ and 'Teddy'. We currently have a white male available offering him for sale at $2500. Here at Rustufarion we are committed to the health of our breeding dogs and understand the importance this has in raising genetically healthy puppies. Our lagottos have been screened for the known and genetically testable disorders evident in the Lagotto. Screening breeding animals prior to breeding will ensure these preventable disorders do not affect your puppy from Rustufarion. Further health checks of our breeding dogs includes screening for Hip Dysplasia. We do everything possible to produce puppies with sound temperaments and confirmation and this has been factored into the selection of a suitable sire for these puppies. For this reason we also raise new born puppies in our home where they receive constant supervision, attention and interaction within a busy home. During the first weeks we focus on raising our puppies within a warm environment and commence neurological stimulation. Our puppies are pedigree registered with Dogs NSW as well as being vet checked and vaccinated, microchipped and come with 6 weeks of puppy health insurance.
