Our love of Brittany's began 16 years ago with the purchase of our first Brittany. Since then we have been fortunate to own a few more of these wonderful dogs.

Our Brittany's come from successful show and hunting stock. Our primary interest is developing Brittany's for family pets and hunting. We believe this is what they really enjoy and excel at. We hunt with our Brittany's and they really love this. They are very affectionate and would prefer to sit on your lap than the floor. Our Brittany's spend as much time in doors as they do outside. Interstate and international transport can be arranged.

Here at Windkael Kennels we have been hunting with, breeding,& competing with quality Bretons (Britts) of fine European Descent since 1986. Our philosophy has always followed the French edict of 'Breeding for the Whole dog' meaning our dogs are equally at home in the show ring as they are hunting or competing in Field & Retrieving trials.
Our foundation sire made history as winer of WGAA Vic's inaugural Retrieving trial, by beating a field of 42 dogs, which included 2 RT Champion Labradors, at their own game. Multiple wins by Windkael Bretons in the field have followed on since. With high emphasis placed on our dogs being integral members of your family we strive to ensure their temperament is as important as their hunting instincts & ability. All of our breeding stock are hip scored to ensure physical soundness with only the very best males & females considered for breeding. We have 2 beautiful boys available. Born on 26th Jan (Australia Day) 2024 so now 5 months old. They are microchipped, vaccinated and have been regularly wormed. Both parents are French imports who were hip scored and temperament tested with excellent results.
"Pete" is an outgoing boy with high drive. He is a keen water dog and has an excellent nose. He has a laid back attitude and nothing seems to bother him. Friendly and energetic he would be ideal for a hunting home whilst still being an integral family member.
"Jack" has a VERY affectionate nature. His gentle demeanour would be well suited to the family with young children. He also has brilliant hunting potential and possesses a keen nose.
His confirmation is excellent and he would be well suited to the show ring if desired.

These boys have been lovingly raised and will only go to the best of homes.
