We have had the privilege of being owned by Briards since 2003, and can safely say that we cannot imagine life without these joyous and intelligent dogs. Our dogs come from established Australian kennels with European lineage and we take pride and care in nurturing this ancient breed, with a focus on excellent temperaments and adaptability for either tending work, the show ring or just as a family member. We undertake all the relevant health testing of our dogs, and our puppies are born and raised inside our home.

Rouisseau Briards is a small, family orientated & friendly breeder of the gorgeous Briard. Breeding healthy Briards with balanced temperaments to the Australian Breed Standard & the International FCI standard. All health tests are carried out routinely, temperament & trainability are carefully considered, & potential sires are chosen with great care & research to give puppies the best opportunity for a healthy & happy life. Rouisseau is firmly centred on family friendly Briards with an aptitude for obedience, dog sports, pet therapy & most of all your ever loving companion. Puppies are raised with the Puppy Culture program, developing great foundations to grow into well adjusted dogs. New Years Day 01/01/2025 we welcomed a beautiful litter of 7 yellow puppies. Puppies are brought up in a loving environment with small children and socialised. Parent's are hip & elbow tested as well as fully DNA tested and have terrific Temperaments and health. We have acquired male dogs over the years from the very best breeders. Our breeders are hip and elbow-scored and clear health records. Our pups have wonderful temperaments, we bred for Guide Dogs for 30 years,and many have become Assistance and Therapy dogs There are a number in schools at present with wonderful feed back. They were vac. microchipped and vet checked at 6 weeks all healthy. They are wormed every 2 weeks. Well socialized on our small farm with 3 generations. Limited registraion. Information pack and and follow up advice for as long as required. 2 weekly updates and photos after deposit. They spend their first few weeks in the house and then have access to a grass run. Expressions of interest. We are very excited to announce at Bullerook Labrador Retrievers we are expecting 2 litters of yellow, Black and Chocolate puppies. These wonderful pups will be ready to go to their new homes late march and mid April. Sire: Highstarr Ollie. Dam: Expediter Chill Bill. This will a beautiful litter of puppies. These multipurpose puppies should suit work, show, pet, retrieval trials or any dog sport homes, some of our pups have also taken up working as assistant and therapy dogs. Our puppies are raised in a family environment and are well socialised. The puppies have been exposed to multiple stimuli, and handled daily. We believe that raising our puppies in this way gives them an optimal start and streamlines their adjustment to a new home. They will be well socialised and love to interact. Both parents are wonderful dogs with a great temperament and have been DNA tested and hip and elbow scored. Puppies will be wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked.
