In 2003 we starting showing Aussie's with some success. In 2005 after much research into the breed we started our own breeding program. The Aussie's fit in well with our already strong Aust Cattle Dog team, built up over the last 30 years. We strive to produce quality Australian Shepherds that are structurally sound, have great movement, strong work ethic and FANTASTIC temperaments. Like with our Cattle dogs, LANBART kennels only breed 1 or 2 litters a year, so when we decide to breed a litter a lot of thought has gone into it. We have put in a lot of work to build a solid foundation for Lanbart Aussies with good structure, NBT gene & Great temperaments, we will reap the benefits of that in the coming years.. All our breeding stock have had all the relavant health tests. Mistique is a small family kennel founded in 1984 which began with Maltese and Border Collies and since then we have owned Australian shepherds. We attained our first Aussies in 1996, Ch. Leesway American Maid (IID),CD and Ch Leesway All American Boy (IID) CDX JD. We have bred many champions and obedience titled dogs from only a few litters.We strive to produce puppies that have correct conformation and great temperaments, that are suitable for all aspects of dog sports as well as loving family pets.
