Ausled's involvement with Vallhunds started in the eighties, we remain dedicated to this very versatile and loyal breed. Ausled is a family affair, our dogs are firstly part of the family. We strive for temperaments that will fit into the home as well as being capable of participating in the life of their owners, obedience, herding, agility and showing are all in the scope of a Vallhund, as is beach and bush walks, swimming and chasing a ball, or just being there as part of the family ! Yggdrasil (id-ra-sil) was the Tree Of Life in Ancient Norse Mythology. Swedish Vallhunds are an ancient breed of Nordic dogs. Here at Miyggdrasil (my-id-ra-sil), our aim is to breed strong, confident, healthy pups that are true to type of this majestic ancient breed. The Vallhunds are hardy little dogs that are extremely loyal and intelligent. They are not subject to any particular ailments and we want to ensure that remains the case for these happy, versatile pups. With exceptional temperaments, they are suited to almost any home. We are currently taking expressions of interest in a litter with our lovely Gypsi Roselee and the amazing Titan. Due early in March 2025. Our most gorgeous Gypsi Roselee will have some amazing puppies as she is a stunner. The Swedish Vallhund dates back to 18th Century Sweden where the breed was utilised as farm dogs, primarily for herding cattle. The Swedish Vallhund is known in its native land as Vastgotaspets, which means Spitz of the West Goths. This dog is also known as the Swedish Shepherd. In Sweden it is believed the Vallhund travelled to Wales with the Viking raiders and went on to become the ancestor of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. The Swedish Vallhund was first introduced into Australia in 1981. BREED PERSONALITY, CHARACTERISTICS AND TEMPERAMENT The Swedish Vallhund is a chirpy little working dog, in which the herding instinct is still very evident. An energetic breed, the Vallhund is friendly, active, agile and very intelligent. It responds well to training due to its eager-to-please personality and is very trustworthy with children. These dogs do well at obedience, love agility and are accomplished trackers. COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER PETS The Swedish Vallhund is quite trustworthy with other dogs. CARE REQUIREMENTS Vallhunds are tough, hardy dogs, not subject to any particular ailment. When properly cared for, they are seldom ill. Their low maintenance coat is weather resistant and easily repels mud and grime. They have a major moult at least once a year.

We have a Stunning Grey No Tail boy available to the right home. He is on Full registration, so would be available to a potential Show Home. But he has a very soft sweet nature and would fit into any loving forever home, and his papers would be marked accordingly. Our babies are raised in our loungeroom, ( so we waste many hours playing with them, when we should be working ) Both parents are accomplished Show Dogs, both are Hip and Elbow scored, DNA tested etc with amazing temprements, and available to meet and greet.

Miss Gypsi Rose-Lee and the handsome Titan welcoming their litter Early March, Happy Feet. We are very excited to meet these new babies as the stud is a handsome fellow. Mum, is a gorgeous girl. Were going to have some amazing puppies from these 2. Can't wait to watch them grow. Born approx. March 2025 ready for their new homes at 12 weeks approx. DNA MICROCHIP AND VACCINATION will be DONE. We had a mating with Ausled Saxs Mira Reflect LS (call name Titan) and Stefindy Lilaussiemates Saski (call name Gypsi ) in Bendigo on the 1/1/2025. Looking for his forever home Scotty is a 6 month old Swedish Vallhund puppy, he's a fun loving happy boy that would suit a family with children or someone needing a best mate. Scotty has a very kind nature, easy to live with attitude, he is very smart and a quick learner, he's playful but not over the top so lovely to live with. Scotty is only for sale due to showing is not his thing even though he's won heaps. He's fully vaccinated and vet checked, microchipped and Dna tested, and has pedigree papers. Puppies due at the end of January. Imported semen from Finland and the UK are the sires to be, both grey sable males. Dams are red sable. There should be a variety of tail lengths and colours given the matings. Dams are DNA profiled and have excellent hip and elbow xray results and have done well in the show ring.

Balgravia is excited to annouce we are expecting puppies on the 26th of January. We are proud to say we raise our puppies in our home with our adult dogs. We have no kennels on our property.
