I have been part of Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier breeding for over 12 years (2007)! I co-ran Dangul Kennels since 2016 and prior to that I have been helping out for the Betandy Kennels. I have been breeding pure-bred Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers for as long as I was looking after them, so have much experience with their traits, temperaments and natures. I also have pedigrees tracing back to generations to know as far of each of my Wheaten's heritage as possible. I am in love with the breed as they truly remind me of human counterparts, in a dog's form. They read and understand our emotions, and love our attention. I breed pure Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers to result in puppies with good temperaments, playful and nurturing natures, healthy and genetically-evaluated for disease-free-carrying genotypes (PLN (protein losing nephropathy) gene and RD (renal dysplasia) gene-linked to kidney disease free, as well as tested for hip dysplasia). They are raised in home-loved conditions until they are set to flight (or picked-up) to their new homes. Feel free to message me about any questions you may have.

We have had over 35 years experience in breeding and showing both dogs and stud Suffolk sheep and have always striven to breed the best stock possible. Improving genetics is our passion. Temperament is paramount along with healthy, happy and structurally sound dogs. We do not anticipate having a litter in 2024, however, we welcome enquiries from people who would like to know more about the breed and our breeding program. Our dogs live in our home and receive only the best care. Puppies are registered with Dogs SA, socialised, health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, come with a full information kit and are part of our family until they leave us for their new homes after 8 weeks of age.

We are careful breeders of health tested puppies and have a passion and love for this wonderful breed.We are grateful to our mentors and the wisdoms they have shared. Our aim is to breed the best possible happy good natured wheatens that we can,-best of temperament,good conformation,healthy pedigree,correct Irish coats,supported by health/genetic testing. Health testing includes OFA/AVA testing hips/elbows,examination of eyes,bloods/urine/renal U/S to check/avoid relevant kidney disease that can rarely come in the breed. We do not breed ANY dogs that carry PLN variant gene due to the real risk to puppies of developing PLN from having even one copy of the gene. Having a biomedical background,keeping on top of genetic studies and how such is related to health has been part of my work for 25years and I have enjoyed bringing that background into our breeding program. We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting puppies. We have a confirmed pregnancy and our reproduction specialist vet has said to expect a large litter. Puppies due the 12th of January and going to homes anytime from approx the 9th of March. Both parents of these babies are chill, friendly and characteristically obsessed with their humans. Both are undemanding dogs who rarely bark. Both pareents are around 17.5kgs so we are expecting regular size Wheatens. There are some smaller dogs in the pedigree so smaller is possible although less likely with this litter. If you are already on our list, please make sure to call or email and make sure I know the timing of this litter suits you. If you are interested in an Alinex puppy joining your family, please get in touch. We still have availability on account of the large litter size. Miss Remy is an 8 month old, richly coloured Irish coated pup. She was born and raised in our home, and is now looking for her forever home. Miss Remy is very loving and likes to sit on your knee a few times a day (for hours a day if we had the time), and has lovely eye contact . She is for sale at a reduced price because we are hoping to find a very specific home for her. Miss Remy has a strong sense of fun and has always been the life of the party with other dogs in our home. As much as she loves her dog playmates at home, she avoids other dogs on walks as if they are the worst idea ever. With a person she loves, and a dog pal, walks are fun. Without the other dog, she finds walks pointless. This girl is extremely attentive and eager to please. She would be immensely trainable and would love “doing work”. Her coat is going to be a truly amazing Irish style coat, with lovely warm wheaten colour. She is a tiny girl, weighing approximately 12kgs like her mother and two of her grandmothers.
