Grantulla is the first and only Sloughi breeder in Australia. We are proud to say from a litter of 13 an amazing achievement was made with 9 Conformation Champions, 8 Junior Courser titles and 2 Field Champions with more on the path to Field Champion. This litter has numerous Class in Group wins with also a handful of Group and Runner Up in Group awards. What a fantastic achievement for this rare breed. We Congratulate all our Sloughi owners for showcasing this wonderful breed. We look forward to trying our foundations in the show ring and lure coursing field we hope a bright and exciting future for the breed as we keep in mind the preservation and function of this rare breed in our future sights. The Sloughi pronounced (SLOO-ghee), is one of the oldest known dog breeds. Dogs of this type are depicted on Egyptian wall reliefs more than three thousand years old. The Sloughi is traditionally a hunting dog of the nomadic tribes of North Africa, the Berbers and the Bedouins. Sloughis bred to hunt game in North Africa were accompanied by trained falcons, sat in the saddle in front of the riders and were taken on the hunt. The Sloughis countries of origin include Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.

We are pleased to take enquiries for our next litter due to be born at end Feb/very early March (ready for new homes end April), from our beautiful girl Pink (Ch Amicileale Lady Belladonna). Whilst we do already have a wait list, there should be puppies available. I am happy to ship interstate or to consider overseas homes. We have been dedicated to this breed since 2009, with all litters raised using puppy culture protocols to ensure they get the best start in life. You might be wanting a pet but if you are looking for a dog for obedience/dog sports, conformation showing, or assistance/therapy (We have several puppies in assistance / therapy homes already) then we can help there too. Puppies are raised in my home with my cats, and other lagotto. Puppies are registered with Doqs Queensland, are vet checked, vaccinated/microchipped, and come with puppy pack of goodies as well as 6 weeks free pet insurance and lifetime breeder support. We have been blessed with some beautiful Lagotto Romagnolo, with excellent temperament, to start with them in the show ring! I am so happy with what we’ve achieved in our first few years with this breed ( we also have WHW Terriers) And now we finally have our own litter of little curly puppies from our amazing foundation bitch ‘Callie’. Born on Christmas Eve 2024. Callie is 3 and has had an exceptional career, becoming an Australian champion at 9 months, grand champion at 2 years and is also the first Lagotto to attain both her A2O and C.I.B titles!! She was Best in Show at the Lagotto Romagnolo breed specialty show, Sydney Royal in 2023 and has also won several Best in Groups, runner up Best in groups and Class in show awards. But the most important thing is that she is an absolute delight and wins hearts wherever she goes! Puppies sire ‘Ziggy’ JWW '23, EUJW'23 Aust Ch Bombadee Lucky Strike (IMP POL) arrived from Europe at the end of 2023 and also has an amazing, friendly temperament and a coat curl to to die for! This litter was bred for ourselves to have progeny of this wonderful girl out showing in 2025 but we may have a couple looking for new homes in 2025 so enquiries are welcome @lahdedah_lagotto

We are delighted to announce the anticipated arrival of Lagotto puppies from ‘Sara’ and 'Teddy'. We currently have a white male available offering him for sale at $2500. Here at Rustufarion we are committed to the health of our breeding dogs and understand the importance this has in raising genetically healthy puppies. Our lagottos have been screened for the known and genetically testable disorders evident in the Lagotto. Screening breeding animals prior to breeding will ensure these preventable disorders do not affect your puppy from Rustufarion. Further health checks of our breeding dogs includes screening for Hip Dysplasia. We do everything possible to produce puppies with sound temperaments and confirmation and this has been factored into the selection of a suitable sire for these puppies. For this reason we also raise new born puppies in our home where they receive constant supervision, attention and interaction within a busy home. During the first weeks we focus on raising our puppies within a warm environment and commence neurological stimulation. Our puppies are pedigree registered with Dogs NSW as well as being vet checked and vaccinated, microchipped and come with 6 weeks of puppy health insurance.
