The Parity team is a mother/daughter collaboration and we have been involved with the breed since 2008. We were in NSW but are now based in South Australia. We enjoy our lovely dogs as members of the family. Our lines are based on dogs we have been fortunate to import from fantastic kennels overseas. We are always grateful for co-operation with other breeders here in Australia too, it's great to work together toward improvement of the breed. Those dogs that are old enough have been hip and elbow scored with excellent results. Patellas, hearts and eyes are checked. We use MyDogDNA genetic testing for every dog used in breeding to ensure that our dogs are clear of any known issues within our breed. Temperament is of utmost importance. The Lagotto Romagnolo is an intelligent working breed and, despite their cuddly look, they can be quite high energy and definitely require training and boundaries. As with any breed, remember to do your research to ensure a good, long-term match. Glenstarz is sister kennel to the well known and award winning kennel Glenstar Lagotto Romagnolo in New Zealand, where we breed, show and own the dogs in Australia along side each other. We believe in staying up-to-date with the best breeding practices. Extensive regular health-testing, research, mentoring and ongoing learning are essential Lagottos are a breed with diverse potential and may be suitable for many purposes (including loving pets, assistance dogs, dog sports and so much more!). Along with selective breeding, I utilise Puppy Culture and ENS to start puppies on their journey to being confident, resilient and well-rounded adults. Through fostering and maintaining relationships with experts in the breed, I have been lucky to incorporate dogs with incredible lines from around the world. Our dogs pedigrees are packed full of dogs from some of the best kennels worldwide. Lagottostar are proud to be Number 1 Lagotto Romagnolo BREEDER of The Year in Australia for 2011, 13,14,15 &17 having produced Champion Lagotto Romagnolo's since 2010. Our progeny have gained Ch show titles, multiple BOB & RUBOB, CC at Royal shows around Australia. We have dogs who's dedicated owner achievements include: Rally O, Obedience, Tracking titles, Truffle work, Disability dog, Nursing home & Therapy work. We travelled to Italy's 'Bagnara di Romagna Lagotto Raduno' in 2012, expanding our breed knowledge and have since invested ample time into truffle work education to Australia, including the promotion of Swiss truffle training expert Denise Stalder (2014) to Bredbo NSW. We're passionately involved with expanding "Truffle Sports Australia" education, with Denise's help. For example, Truffle sports (FB page) will be featured at this years Animal Expo, April 2018. Truffle sports training days are also held at our property. In 2010-2017 we volunteered for the Lagotto club of SA, promoting ample breed curricular activity the past decade. Including showcasing dogs each year Club events (Expo, Carnevale) & our dogs have featured in the DogsNSW Breed feature for 2012) . We do all current testing - HD,EYE, LSD, & BFJE, HUU, COAT & Volhard test only selectively breed toward betterment every few years or so, with a focus on introducing new lines suitable for disability assistance/ truffle/ working and show abilities when requested by family & friends.

We are delighted to announce the anticipated arrival of Lagotto puppies from ‘Sara’ and 'Teddy'. We currently have a white male available offering him for sale at $2500. Here at Rustufarion we are committed to the health of our breeding dogs and understand the importance this has in raising genetically healthy puppies. Our lagottos have been screened for the known and genetically testable disorders evident in the Lagotto. Screening breeding animals prior to breeding will ensure these preventable disorders do not affect your puppy from Rustufarion. Further health checks of our breeding dogs includes screening for Hip Dysplasia. We do everything possible to produce puppies with sound temperaments and confirmation and this has been factored into the selection of a suitable sire for these puppies. For this reason we also raise new born puppies in our home where they receive constant supervision, attention and interaction within a busy home. During the first weeks we focus on raising our puppies within a warm environment and commence neurological stimulation. Our puppies are pedigree registered with Dogs NSW as well as being vet checked and vaccinated, microchipped and come with 6 weeks of puppy health insurance. We have been blessed with some beautiful Lagotto Romagnolo, with excellent temperament, to start with them in the show ring! I am so happy with what we’ve achieved in our first few years with this breed ( we also have WHW Terriers) And now we finally have our own litter of little curly puppies from our amazing foundation bitch ‘Callie’. Born on Christmas Eve 2024. Callie is 3 and has had an exceptional career, becoming an Australian champion at 9 months, grand champion at 2 years and is also the first Lagotto to attain both her A2O and C.I.B titles!! She was Best in Show at the Lagotto Romagnolo breed specialty show, Sydney Royal in 2023 and has also won several Best in Groups, runner up Best in groups and Class in show awards. But the most important thing is that she is an absolute delight and wins hearts wherever she goes! Puppies sire ‘Ziggy’ JWW '23, EUJW'23 Aust Ch Bombadee Lucky Strike (IMP POL) arrived from Europe at the end of 2023 and also has an amazing, friendly temperament and a coat curl to to die for! This litter was bred for ourselves to have progeny of this wonderful girl out showing in 2025 but we may have a couple looking for new homes in 2025 so enquiries are welcome @lahdedah_lagotto

We are pleased to take enquiries for our next litter due to be born at end Feb/very early March (ready for new homes end April), from our beautiful girl Pink (Ch Amicileale Lady Belladonna). Whilst we do already have a wait list, there should be puppies available. I am happy to ship interstate or to consider overseas homes. We have been dedicated to this breed since 2009, with all litters raised using puppy culture protocols to ensure they get the best start in life.
