We, KPJVGOLDEN, are a Dogs Australia (ANKC) Registered Breeder and adhere to Dogs SA's Code of Ethics. Our aim is to breed puppies with essential soundness, friendly temperaments, good personalities, and other fine qualities as outlined in the FCI Standard of Breed. Our goal is to produce puppies that make fantastic family companions. All puppies are registered with ANKC on the Limited Register Pedigree and follow the Puppy Culture Protocol for their personality and socialization development after birth. They are raised in a warm-hearted, loving family environment alongside our Golden family. We will provide weekly updates on the puppies as they grow and develop, maintaining the love in each update and strengthening the bond between the puppies and their owners. They are also fed a premium "ADVANCE" diet. All our breeding stock is owned by our family and has undergone comprehensive breeding and hereditary health testing. This includes X-ray screening for hips and elbows, AIS PennHIP scoring, and full breed profile DNA health screening for hereditary diseases. These measures ensure that their puppies are healthy and free from hereditary diseases. Additionally, they have passed heart and annual eye examinations through the AVA-ACES Scheme, with clear certified examination certificates. Poppy and Mambo are delighted to announce that they are parents for the very first time. Their babies arrived without a fuss on 22nd January, and Poppy is being a perfect first time mumma dog. Please feel free to contact us as we navigate the next few weeks with our adorable little bundles as they grow and develop and prepare to be the very best family members they can be. The babies will come with first vaccination, written vet health check, microchip, wormed, comprehensive folder of information, food to start etc etc We have both male and female babies available at this stage.

We are a small but dedicated Kennel North of Adelaide, South Australia. We are committed to the working side of the breed, and breeding for the dual-purpose Golden; a dog that is - a dog for all reasons, a dog for all seasons. We enjoy training and competing with our dogs in a variety of dog sports, with agility being our main focus, competing in both ANKC and ADAA events. We have also trained and competed in Obedience, Rally, Retrieving, DWD, Tricks, and Scentwork. We also enjoy recreational activities like bikjoring, geocaching, and hiking. As such we have a preference for placing our puppies into active and/or sporting homes. Our puppies are raised in our home following Puppy Culture protocols. Welcome to Gould Ridge farm, we are a small hobby farm located 25kms North of Adelaide. We have been involved in showing Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds for the last few years and have just started breeding our own GouldRidge line. Our breeding aim is to better the breed while maintaining a tempement that suits show dogs and family pets. We believe the pairing of our girl Keelobe Dancing in the sun -Summer to Albuyec Scot Free with Askaval - George will do just that. You can be assured that both Dam and Sire for this mating and any Dam or Sire used for future matings have been hip and elbow cleared, eyes cleared by a specialist opthamologist, heart cleared by a specialist cardiologist and a full DNA panel done to ensure hereditary diseases are not passed on to the puppies. Our dogs are members of our family and live inside with us, as will the puppies, the puppies have their own outdoor courtyard to ensure safe play away from the adult dogs. Our puppies are handled and socialised daily, we believe it is important to begin basic age appropriate obedience, toilet training and house training before the puppies leave us. Although most of our time handling, socialising and taking the puppies around the farm is highly engaging and active, we also find value in quiet, low activity socialisation too. These types of activities include house training, with treat rewards for sitting quietly, being calm and ignoring the cat, and indoor plants.

We are absolutely delighted to finally have our very first litter of Golden Retriever babies. Even though they’re only a few days old, Poppy is absolutely in love with her kids, and is the most superb mumma. Both parents (Poppy and Mambo) have beautiful natures and love nothing more than snuggling up or hanging out with their people, and have excellent hips, clear elbows and are clear of all hereditary diseases that can be checked. These babies will eventually leave us after 8 weeks of love, having been handled extensively, socialised with all of our other animals, vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed, and will go with food to start, a comprehensive information folder, pedigree papers and ongoing support.
