Our love for Briards has extended over thirty years and during this time we have exhibited and promoted our breed in the show ring throughout NSW with great success. Our two recent dogs, Boots and Puddles have performed exceptionally well in Conformation Shows, winning multiple age groups. Of particular note was Boots’ performance in winning a Best in Show award as a Junior, dog. This success has generated within us a desire to spread our good fortune and success to others by commencing a breeding program under the breeder’s prefix Coevante. Our aim is to promote the breed through developing sound and well-tempered dogs, that demonstrate the true characteristics of this breed which has been described as a “a heart wrapped in fur”. We are very fortune to announce that our first litter will be due on 2nd May 2022.

We are a small family based breeder in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Our pups are raised in our family home where they are well socialised and receive full time care and supervision. Our lines have been imported from South Africa from Champion stock. Our focus is on breeding quality companion dogs with good form and temperament. Our pups come with an ANKC Pedigree Certificate (Limited Register), a full DNA profile of parents showing disease free, a microchip, up to date vaccinations, up to date worming, puppy pack (blanket from mum, advice documents, small bag of food etc) and ongoing support. Our current litter includes; 4 x Male Cream (1 Available) 1 x Female Shaded Cream (SOLD) 2 x Female Black and Cream (1 Available) Puppies are available for pick up or delivery from January 15. Our lovely black and tan girl Ruby has had five beautiful babies! She was paired with an absolutely exceptional cream stud and we are very happy with the babies! Gorgeous 6 week old litter who are looking for their forever homes now. Born 16 December 2024 from cream stud out of black/cream pointed dam; 1 cream (shaded) girl (will go completely cream by 6 months) 1 cream (shaded) boy (will go completely cream by 6 months) 1 black/cream pointed girl 2 cream (shaded) girls BOTH SOLD These puppies have the most beautiful temperaments already which is no surprise as both mum and dad do too. Both parents are social, friendly and happy with other dogs and people. Mum loves the beach, the water and to chase a ball and of course a cuddle! Both parents have been shown and are not anxious or nervous and non of these puppies are showing these traits either. They are happy and contented, playing well and enjoying all sorts of new foods! In the Sire achieved his Champion title in 2024 at only 2 years old and is located Newcastle area, mum is nearly 2 and has also been shown. Puppies are located Mid North Coast near Port Macquarie and will be looking for their forever homes in February 2025.

Beautiful nature 6 month old red male ‘Roger’. I ran him on for show ring but have decided to keep his female litter mate. Excellent breeding. Ideally Roger would love a home with another dog or/and someone who has experience with dachshunds .
