I have been a registered breeder for approx. 20 years and breeding Borders for approx. 15 years. These happy outgoing little dogs are a pleasure to own and breed. My aim is to breed for companion and show with particular attention paid to temperament and conformation. I love to see them go to forever family homes where they can participate in the family activities and be loved family members. I am more than happy to answer any questions that you may have about Borders.

Chanpema Kennels was established in 1995 with our first Labrador CH ELORAC BORIS BROWN (Boris) from ELORAC Kennels. In 2004 We introduced the Border Terrier after falling in love with their personalities. Apamura Ralph Lauren was then introduced to our Kennels, sine this time we have been successful with our Border terriers, making up a Grand champion and several champions. Chanpema Kennels breeds for temperament, soundness and quality. At CHANPEMA kennels we breed for quality not quantity.

Puppies will be available later in January 2025, to approved owners. Will be vet checked, inoculated & wormed, micro-chipped, carefully raised as recommended by 'Dogs NZ' (formerly NZ Kennel Club) Breeders Code of Conduct. All enquiries welcomed.

We currently have 2 little girls available and two boys for new homes late December early january all healthy and eating/drinking well all vaccinated and microchipped happy healthy little pups that have grown up around our other dogs and animals and are very well socialized please call if you are looking for one of these little pups to join your family. will come with puppy packs. Five puppies due 15th February. Pups will be ready for new homes mid April. Pups will have vaccination, microchip, worming, 6 weeks free pet insurance, puppy pack and a lifetime of free veterinary advice. Happy to discuss the suitability of the breed to your family if you have any queries. Pups will be sold on limited register to approved homes.
