Glendawn Basenjis are Best in Specialty Show, Best in Show, Class in Show, Best in Group and Class in Group winners. At the QLD Basenji Speciality In 2017, our boy Demon 'Aust Ch Remwin Wildaboutharry' took out the Best in Show. Our dogs have done us proud in the show ring and in their wonderful homes. Their loving temperaments and their steadiness under stress and trying times makes them great home companions and family pets. Prior to breeding, parents are DNA tested for PRA and Fanconi Syndrome as well as hip scored, with all pups being ANKC registered and DNA tested with Orivet to prove parentage. Every new owner is provided with a puppy pack and care package, which includes any additional information and dietary requirements. From two weeks of age, our babies are wormed every fortnight. At 6 weeks of age they are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and health tested by a registered veterinarian. We implement crate training and desensitisation to other dogs, cats and children. Our pups are handled from a very early age to ensure we raise friendly, inquisitive basenjis and to distinguish their temperaments so we can place them with the best homes possible. Sif if imported from New Zealand and is from my own lines that I expoerted to New Zealand. Sif is a beautiful girl with a great temperament, who gained her Show Champion title only 9 months old. She enjoys doing agility, tracking and scent work. Sif won the National Novice Agility Championship 2023. This will be Sif's first litter.

Archie is a top of the standard male with a rich mahogany coat, rarely seen in the Tervueren in Australia. Imported from Bergerac de hu kennels in Hungary, this kennel regularly produces world class Agility dogs who can also compete in IGP. Archie has the sound temperament we have come to expect from this kennel, with strong but controllable drives ingrained in his pedigree. He is a clear headed dog with great confidence and kindness. We have had 3 dogs of Trixie’s breeding here at Belgenbeau and all have shown strong drive and great characters, Biddable and willing to learn.
