Lidaby is a Dogs NZ (previously known as NZKC) registered kennel that is located in the Waikato which is in the North Island of New Zealand. We have owned Staffords since 2000 and have been exhibiting our dogs in the show ring since 2008. We bred our first litter in 2017 and only breed when wanting to keep a puppy ourselves. Our aim at Lidaby Kennels is to produce quality Staffords with sound temperament and confirmation that are clear of all health issues. Our Staffords are DNA profiled and are genetically clear of L2-HGA, HC and DM (copies are available). Our Staffords are inside family pets that offer a loving demeanor and are happy to steal your hearts and your bed!! NO LONGER BREED STAFFORD BULL TERRIERS Drakon Staffords breeding reds, whites and Blue Staffords to the Stafford standard.. I started breeding Staffordshire Bull Terrier in the 1990s. All my Staffords have the sweetiest naturers and are great obedience and agility dogs. My puppies are house raised with children who give them lots of cuddles (we all need them) They come with a Full Vet health check, vaccination, microchipped wormed, de-flead and a puppy food pack and a wonderful Information booklet on raising your puppy. I have been an active Northern Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club Committee member where I have also held the Vice President position. I am qualifed in Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing and also Rural Vet Technican, which helps me to hopefully help answer any questions in regards in the healthly raising of any puppies sold from my Kennel. Puppies sometimes available for pet /show homes. DNA testing ensures that puppies will not develop Juvenile Cataracts.

We are a small kennel just outside Christchurch who have been involved in Staffords for 33 years. It wasn't until Morgan (BISS Renegade Apache Brew) joined my family in 2006 that I decided to enter the show ring. The rest is history. In that time Morgan became a New Zealand Champion and Best in Speciality Show winner - I was hooked. We sadly said goodbye to Morgan far too soon in 2014. We have showed 3 of Morgan’s offspring which produced 3 New Zealand Champions, two of whom became Best In Show winners. We sometime have puppies available when we are breeding for ourselves. All our dogs are L2-HGA & HC Cleared.

Our Staffords are L2-HGA & HC Clear We have owned Staffords for over 20 years and now showing for 14 years, we bred our first litter in 2010 and look forward to the future with our dogs. Here at Valleyriver Kennels we have 3 beautiful boys available. 1 red and 2 brindle. They will be ready for their new homes on the 23rd December just in time for the holidays! We have a 6 year old male looking for a loving retirement home he is a very well behaved dog. He is very easy to walk and has no interest in other dogs he just wants to be with his human, he would be suited to a home with another female dog or by himself. Due to unforeseen circumstances and absolutely no fault of their own, we have 2 gorgeous girls one 6 year old and one 5 year old are searching for their forever family. They have both been raised around a family environment with other dogs. They love humans and to cuddle on the couch.
