Dellaforte Neapolitan Mastiffs NZ
Our passion for the Mastino began in 2007 when we welcomed our first mastino into our home. These majestic creatures invoke a passion and a yearning in your heart and ingrain themselves in your soul. Omaggio meaning tribute or gift is how we see the Mastini of today. The dogs of today are a tribute to their forefathers of over 4000 years ago. Our dogs are a big part of our everyday life and we show most weekends. Omaggio is the home to Australia’s first and only male Supreme Champion Neapolitan Mastiff. Visitor welcome by appointment.
CANEMAESTOSO - Majestic Dog
Neopolitian Mastiffs are a rare and awe-inspiring breed. Truely majestic!
Mastini offer the right home, a reliable companion who will be fiercely loyal, proud, protective and affectionate.
Mastini are at their best when engaged as part of your family. Our dogs enjoy a rural environment with other animals and adore our children.
We are proud & protective owners of Masitini and are committed to ensuring longevity of this special breed. Breeding is very limited, soley aimed at quality outcomes.
The Neapolitan Mastiff is a true specimen and the most beastly-looking of all breeds. They boast an impressive head, grandiose posture, imposing presence and a loyal and faithful temperament. With careful and planned breeding, these are the traits we endeavor to maintain.
Located in the western suburbs of Sydney, we have been involved with breeding mastiff-breeds for over ten years. Our dogs are truly part of our family.
Before you consider a Neapolitan Mastiff, please be aware that this is not a breed for everyone. They are strong-willed, possessive and protective. They are loyal to their family to a fault - which 'can' make interactions with strangers (particularly within their own home) an issue. Their facial anatomy makes them natural droolers. They are a breed for experienced dog owners who have patience, love and passion for the breed.

I have owned this wonderful breed since I arrived in Australia in 2004.
I have imported 13 dogs from all over the world
Large and powerful, Neapolitan Mastiffs are known for their massiveness – massive head, massive bone, and massive body.
I only breed occasionally for my own kennel and have mains or limited puppies for sale.
I live on 30 acres just outside Mackay and my dogs are well socialised with the native wild life, my cats and cattle.
I welcome anyone interested in this breed to my home, for a friendly chat.
Puppy buyers are welcome to visit and choose their pups in person and see the parents in their own enviroment. My dogs have excellent temperaments.
We have an amazing litter from
Dellaforte Leviticus

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our litter between Taoiseach The Creature (aka Goliath) and Canemaestoso Black Velvet (aka Gulbahar). This litter comes from a long line of notable Neapolitan Mastiffs, such as Se. Ch. Nero Del Malapensiero (Ita), Ch. Hugo of the Witches Meltingpot (Imp NOR), Ch. Drago Del Robbiano (Imp ITA), Ch. Maggiormente Cupid and Ch. Magnufi Tito.
The puppies parents are true and correct to their breed - Goliath weighing-in at well over 85kgs, he is a true specimen. He maintains the physical structure, protective nature and storge / familial love expected. His physical features are second-to-none, with a huge head, great coat, bone density and posture. A truly excellent example of the breed.
Gulbahar is a fantastic bitch, who, despite her usually playful and spirited nature, has demonstrated to be an exceptional mother. She has an excellent black / brindle coat, beautiful looking face, great posture and bone density and weighed-in at 60-odd kgs before puppies. She is a fun-loving dog with a huge affection for her family.
We currently have two (2) puppies looking for their new homes (grey female, black-brindle female). The puppies are showing excellent traits and would be well suited for the show ring (if you are that way inclined), but most importantly, would make ideal companions. The puppies were born 03/09/24 and will be available from 01/11/24.
