My name is Laura. Dogs have been my passion since I was a little girl! I am from Latvia, Europe and ‘Zemzari’ means ‘under the tree branches’ in Latvian.

I am extremely passionate about the breed - I enjoy doing ‘meet the breed expos’ and my girls come to parks with my toddlers so others can meet and learn more about the breed.

To me, health and temperament is paramount. My girls are health tested and live inside with us - on our couches and beds, plenty of space to run around our acreage and they are doted on all day long. This is the environment our puppies will grow up in too. My girls Evie and Shadow are shown here and there and both have won “Best of Breed” at some shows.

I am a new, small registered breeder of Italian Greyhounds. My two girls, Evie and Shadow, will produce the first Zemzari litters which I am so so excited about! Rest assured, I am in the capable hands of my very experienced mentors - Chris from Skyefall and Liz from Tahrae.

Montiverdi Kennels was established in the early 1990s with Italian Spinoni and English Springer Spaniels. We have reduced the size of our dogs, but not their personality!
Generally we breed one litter of Italian Greyhounds per year. We prefer solid coloured dogs of Continental type; our breeding dogs come from Eltazzi lines and imported European stock.
We produce healthy, robust puppies, reflective of their purpose as small hunting dogs. We want dogs with good conformation and correct movement, able to excel in activities such as endurance and lure coursing, as well as having careers in the show ring. They should have excellent temperaments and make loving companions.
Puppies are raised in our house and, when old enough, explore our acreage and meet other people and dogs.
Breeding dogs are DNA tested for heritable conditions.
Potential owners need to demonstrate a deep commitment to their dog and, in return, can expect a lifetime of friendship and support.

Bindahlena is a small, dedicated, home based kennel, based on pretty acerage near Geelong. I am very passionate about the breed, and my dogs are family members, I don’t keep large numbers. My focus been “QUALITY NOT QUANTITY ” . With a long history in dogs, this beautiful little breed have totally captured my heart, and I devote time to showing them and promoting them round the country. But I love nothing more than a evening on the couch surrounded and loved by my dogs.

I’ve showed many iggys, both home breed and some for other kennels, to gaining their Australian Champion qualifications and a Grand/Supreme. My bloodlines come from one of the most successful and respected, kennels in the country, with multi Supremes, Grands and Best In Show Winners. And top snuggling abilities too lol. On my journey iv had many special wins, at group and show level. I also co-own a lovely boy that we campaigned to a SUPREME CHAMPION and “NO 1 IG IN AUSTRALIA!! “ : )

In my breeding, my focus is correctness, I’m striving for sound, healthy and happy igs, with great temperaments. I aim to maintain elegance, and balance with correct movement. Puppies are born and raised in my home, keeping a close eye on them and mum at all stages. I occasionally have pups available to approved homes. *All dogs/pups are fully health tested, pups come with extensive puppy packs, detailed booklet and lifetime support.
