Canicula Kennels' breeding programme is based on pure working line Spaniels bred for their natural ability for hunting and performance in the field. In our breeding we concentrate on superior temperaments with a correct balance of drives using the finest overseas and local lines available.

Our dogs excel in traditional gundog Field and Retrieving disciplines, as well as non-traditional dog sports like Agility. We have Jack Russell Terriers as part of our family on our stud cattle property located on the NSW/ Qld border. We love the fabulous jack temperament, their marvellous mischievous character and adaptability to life whether helping around the farm or just lounging in the house. Our jacks are a mix of old Australian & global Italian bloodlines and everyone comments on the adaptability and happy temperament of our jack pups in their new homes around the country.
