Home of Kingleigh and iDobe dobermanns. Proud breeders of dobermanns for 30+ years. Our dobermanns are part of the family, we don't breed often, only when we want another dobermann for ourselves. We health test. We breed for temperament, longevity and conformation. Puppies are occasionally available to approved homes where they will be a part of the family.

I have been dedicated to the breed in NZ for 30 years, breeding for quality, conformation, health and temperament as per our standard. I have imported dogs from Aust with European & American lines to introduce new blood lines & it is my aim for the future to selectively breed to carry on and produce these line bred dogs. For the past 5 years I have been dna testing for Von Willebrands Disease (vWd's) with the result that I have ruled out any affected pups, all my breeding bitches are now clear. To date I have 30 champions, Specialty and Allbreeds winners, I use live dogs for stud and most of my bitches go back now 20 odd years, with one still remaining at 13 and going strong. I believe if you have quality in your breeding bitches than you get great quality in your pups using the right dogs line breed to my girls. I have 2 outstanding litters from my young stud dog 'Chance' who is carrying on the lines from 'Force', one of the best dogs in the country, producing soundness, great bone, substance and quality. 'Chance' is proving to be a great champion taking out 'BEST IN SHOW' at DDC Specialty 2014, his progeny is now being shown and winning in the ring, we expect a lot from these pups. 'TIKO' SUPAUCH. Derringer What A Chance is a 'Chance's son who is now a SUPREME CHAMPION. Awarded BIG @ Goomeri by Mr C Woodrow gave Tiko the final points he required to obtain such status. Tiko is the YOUNGEST DOBERMANN in Australia to obtain a Supreme Championship Title.

Martyn Dobermann Stud has been established since 1970, and we are the oldest established breeders exhibiting still in New Zealand. To date we have bred 93 plus Champions and 12 NZ Grand Champions 1 Aust Gr Ch and three NZ Supreme Champions, and owned an Australian import who became a NZ Grand Champion. We are the first breeders to have a Grand Champion Dobermann registered with the New Zealand Kennel Club and we also have an American Champion to our name, being the only Dobermann kennel to achieve this in the history of the breed along with many Australian Champions. We, together with our children, have imported four American Dobermanns from the USA, and have currently in the frozen semen bank from the USA, the choice of fifteen top American male Dobermann's for our on going breeding program. We have achieved numerous awards at both All Breed Champion Shows and Dobermann Specialists Shows. One of our major achievements would be having bred the winner of the Australian Dobermann Nationals, where Australian Champion Martyn Double Trouble (Imp NZ) who won Best In Show over 316 Australian Dobermann's. To date Martyn Dobermanns have won in excess of 150 All Breeds Best In Shows at all levels of competition. As a family we exhibit most weekends of the year. We have a black and rust male available from our previous litter. As the best male in the litter we have considered keeping this boy for showing and breeding, but after careful consideration we have decided to go on with his sister instead. DOB 14 July 2024. Six (6) year old neutered female available for a single dog household. Might be okay with an older male of similar size.
